The recently elected mayor of Saint Paul is Kaohly Her. In the most recent episode of As the DFL Turns, St. Paul Chief of Police Axel Henry has filed a highly credible sexual harassment lawsuit against his boss. Henry’s lawsuit was preceded by a sexual harassment complaint that I wrote about in “Her’s on first.”

Her — she’s a nut. Henry’s complaint runs over 70 pages. He is represented by Minneapolis attorney Chris Madel. Chris successfully represented Liz Collin and Alpha News in the lawsuit brought by Minneapolis Assistant Police Chief Katie Blackwell deriving from The Fall of Minneapolis. Serving on the board of Alpha News at the time, I got to know and respect Chris. Thanks to the work of Chris and his firm, Hennepin County District Judge Ned Wahl dismissed Blackwell’s lawsuit with prejudice in April 2025.

This is the opening of the Star Tribune story reporting Henry’s lawsuit against Her:

St. Paul Police Chief Axel Henry filed a lawsuit Wednesday claiming that Mayor Kaohly Her sexually harassed and battered him, and that the city retaliated against him when he reported it and initiated an investigation.

Several allegations in the lawsuit, which names Her and the city as defendants, had been made public during the course of an earlier internal probe into Her’s conduct. But the complaint includes new claims, including that Her made “unwanted and nonconsensual physical contact” with Henry, “placing her hand on his upper thigh beneath a conference-room table — not once, but twice — during a [St. Paul Police Department] budget meeting.”

It also accuses Her of making sexual innuendos about the size of Henry’s penis and describing herself as a “MILF,” a sexually vulgar acronym.

The lawsuit comes less than a week after the city announced that the misconduct investigation into the mayor found that she “engaged in offensive and inappropriate behavior” in violation of the city’s workplace conduct policy but did not sexually harass or retaliate against anyone.

On top of the allegations about Her’s behavior, the lawsuit claims that the mayor hired a private public relations firm to discredit Henry after the investigation began, and that St. Paul officials violated the Minnesota Whistleblower Act when they “engaged in a series of retaliatory acts” because of the sexual harassment complaint.

It isn't just Minneapolis that has a Prog nutjob mayor.

Florida history teacher Liz Ballard ‘deliberately tried to cancel’ 8th grader ‘for his conservative views’

A Florida history teacher allegedly tried to “cancel” an eighth-grader enrolled at one of the state’s elite schools for his conservative beliefs – and now she’s facing calls to be fired.

Liz Ballard, a teacher at Pine View School in Osprey, Fla., is accused of singling out the boy as the “conservative perspective” in her classes before describing him as a “misogynist” and spreading the slur around the school, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said in a letter on Monday.

Ballard allegedly “harassed, disparaged and deliberately tried to ‘cancel’ an eighth-grade student for his conservative views” during her debates — even though he had previously warned her “his parents expressly forbid him to take part,” according to Uthmeier’s letter.

She “singled out this student and in defiance of his parents’ express instructions, pressured him to defend political positions… in front of his classmates,” the pol said, engaging in what he described as the “reputational destruction of a child.”

The educator then allegedly blasted the boy’s family, “openly [questioning] the suitability and influence of [his] father.”

As an aside, that last quoted sentence highlights a danger in school teachers being legal mandatory reporters. Had she reported this boys parents to CPS for abuse or neglect, her madatory reporter status would have given her greater credibility than some random person. Since her class probably had 20-30 students, interviewing the students to confirm or show as false this students claims, this teacher should either be exonnerated or canned (posted to a "rubber room"?) by resumption of school after Chri ... errrr ... winter vacation.

California gunman repeatedly released before deadly rampage, fiery shootout with deputies

A California murder suspect was arrested three times in less than two weeks and walked out of jail after each bust before authorities said his crime spree ended with an innocent woman dead and a fiery shootout with deputies.

Prosecutors said they tried to keep Derek Spencer, 44, behind bars after he allegedly assaulted a Sacramento County sheriff’s deputy. Instead, he posted bail, was arrested twice more and was released both times before allegedly killing 76-year-old Cheryl Macy, a beloved former Placer County District Attorney’s Office employee.

"Sadly, this should never have occurred but bail reform in California has prioritized criminal offenders over victims," the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

Spencer was ultimately killed early Monday after allegedly opening fire on Placer County sheriff’s deputies during a tense standoff in the rugged forest near Iowa Hill.

The dude sounds like a solo-Clyde-Barrow wannabe.

But for Sacto's one-size-frees-most moronicity, Cheryl Macy would be alive.
