I remember this case -- she actually has a righteous argument.

The employees were told if they were first in sales or something like that, they would get a Toyota.  So, she busted her hump to win and then she was given this "toy yoda" instead.

I don't blame her for being pissed.  I would be, too.

There is a concept in the law called "promissory estoppel" which is very much on point here.
