While I think this is a very bad idea economically, the legacy media has already settled upon their preferred narrative: This proposal is likely illegal. The bribe thing is laughably a bad argument, how about proposing free healthcare and free childcare, are those not bribes?

It isn't illegal according to tax laws which are of course quite convoluted and difficult to understand unless one knows an expert in the field (hint, hint).

What's the dem end game? cut back our energy capabilities, apologize and help Iran
 fund the rebuilding of their nuke enrichment? 

Undo what DOGE has done? Fund more learing centers?

It takes just 2 years for this wishy-washy "floating" voter bloc to completely forget how screwed up this country was!!!!

WHAT IS THE DEMOCRAT END GAME?  Defunding police, ICE, reopen the borders, etc.
