Jewish Democrat AG Won’t Attend Party’s Convention Due To Safety Concerns

https://www.dailywire.com/news/jewish-democrat-ag-wont-attend-partys-convention-due-to-safety-concerns

Quote
Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said Thursday that she will skip next month’s Michigan Democratic Party convention because she fears being harassed, adding another flashpoint to a party increasingly divided over Israel and antisemitism during a bitter U.S. Senate primary.

Speaking during a roundtable discussion with Jewish leaders and community members, Nessel said she no longer feels safe attending the party’s August 29 convention in Lansing after what she described as repeated harassment.

“I feel like my presence isn’t going to be welcome. I don’t want to get chased around. I don’t want to get harassed. I don’t want to get yelled and screamed at. I don’t want to get booed off the stage, irrespective of what I’m saying,” Nessel said. “And I believe that if I go, that is what will happen because it’s been happening to me.”

Nessel also criticized Democratic Party leadership for failing to adequately respond to concerns she said she had repeatedly raised about individuals who have targeted her, warning that antisemitism on the political Left has become a growing problem within the party.

Dudette should have spoken up about Dem Party antisemitism 10 or 20 years ago.

Hormuz Is Disrupted, Saudi Oil Is Under Attack. So Why Is Oil Still Below $100?

https://www.osint613.com/article/hormuz-is-disrupted-saudi-oil-is-under-attack-so-why-is-oil-still-below-100

Quote
The Strait of Hormuz remains heavily disrupted. Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure has come under repeated attack. Tankers continue to sail through one of the world’s most dangerous waterways under military escort, while governments are drawing down strategic oil reserves at the fastest pace in decades.
...
Instead, Brent crude was trading around $90 on July 30, while West Texas Intermediate remained below $84. Prices are significantly higher than they were a month ago, but they remain far below the levels many predicted when the conflict escalated.

The reason is not that the disruption has been minor. It is that several emergency measures have replaced enough lost supply to prevent a full scale supply shock from reaching the market.

Military Escorts Are Keeping Oil Moving

The most important factor has been the U.S. military operation inside the Strait of Hormuz.
...
Pipelines Are Absorbing Part of the Shock

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates possess the only major export pipelines capable of bypassing Hormuz.

Saudi Arabia’s East West Pipeline carries crude from the Eastern Province to Yanbu on the Red Sea, while the UAE’s Habshan Fujairah pipeline delivers oil directly to the Gulf of Oman. Together, the International Energy Agency estimates they can reroute between 3.5 million and 5.5 million barrels per day under current conditions.

Those pipelines have become one of the world’s most valuable pieces of energy infrastructure.
...
Supply Has Increased While Demand Has Fallen

The market has also benefited from additional production outside the Gulf.

U.S. oil production remains near record highs, while Venezuela has substantially increased exports following political changes earlier this year. Brazil and Guyana continue adding new production, contributing additional barrels at a time when every cargo matters.

Except for the tanker escorts and nations releases from their SPRs, these are long-term factors. The pipelines are likely to keep flowing, and one that has been shut down due to the chaos-war in Syria is being repaired. The renewal of Venezuela's oil production is likely to continue, and the production off Brazil's and Guyana's coasts is new and likely to increase substantially. IOW, Iran shot off its foot, with terrible timing.

Streamer Hasan Piker Who Said America Deserved 9/11 Guarantees 2028 Dem Nominee Will Be Anti-Israel

Oh, Hasan Piker, you nepo-nephew rich boy who never had to accomplish anything at all on your own in your miserable little life. You never miss a chance to run your insipid little mouth and show the world what a bigot you are.

Remember, a few days ago, Hasan was walking back his 'America deserved 9/11' comments because it was making life difficult for his bestie Zohran Mamdani. See, some 9/11 families did not want Zohran at the anniversary event because he hangs around a dude who says such atrocious things. Hasan tried to convince the world there was nuance and we just didn't understand him.

Today, he's back at it ensuring the world the 2028 candidate will be anti-Israel. What a peach.

Oh, Piker is speaking the truth. To take it even further, the WHOLE Democrat platform will be 'Free Palestine' nonsense. It will be the ONLY thing that matters, actually. Securing our borders, the economy, gas prices, the safety of our communities is always secondary to 'Free Palestine' in the eyes of today's Democrats.

It is scary, but it also a reality. Democrat candidates are clamoring to campaign with this guy. He is the new 'it' celebrity to have come speak at a campaign rally.

Since the two most recent Dem Presidents, OhBummer! and Auto-Pen, were anti Israel, the only likely difference will be how publicly and slanderously the Dem nominee will hate Israel.

Maybe some of the Jews will wake up and vote for Republicans.

Jewish people are not homogeneous. They range from aggressive atheists to ultra-orthodox, e.g. the Hasidim. Their views on Israel and a host of other political topics vary similarly. For reasons I don't understand, Jewish people have long been strong-majority Dem voters. "Anti-Zionist" has long been the smokescreen in which antisemites such as AOC's "Squad" openly hid (remember OhBummer's "pastor", Jeremiah God Damn America Wright?).
