I dunno.
After the parents died, some wealthy Republicans in Lincoln sort of looked after me when I was in college--in fact, I knew them much longer than I knew my own parents--and these were people who had everything.
And so if I gave them something, some nice flowers were always appreciated.
As for wine, if somebody wanted to give me wine as a gift, St.-Louis Beaujolais is always good; to me, it tastes like the blood of one's enemies, and I used to sip on it a lot.
