What The Reflecting Pool now reflects...

The Reflecting Pool in D.C. now perfectly reflects DJT and Co.: it's toxic to living creatures, isn’t very transparent, is mostly one color, sucks up millions of dollars, its base is crumbling and it stinks.

1. Try talking about OhBummer's failed repair effort that cost 3 times as much and had to be redone a decade later.

2. The Left Hates Trump so Much That It's Trying to Sabotage the Reflecting Pool

Quote
The Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool has become the latest target in the left's war on anything Donald Trump touches, and the radical left isn't even trying to hide it anymore.

According to reports circulating on social media, the National Guard and Park Police have ramped up patrols around the reflecting pool amid threats from leftists vowing to sabotage the recently renovated landmark. Independent journalist Nick Sortor sounded the alarm on the brazen plot.
...
President Trump confirmed on Friday in a Truth Social post that vandals damaged the newly renovated pool, and he didn't hold back. Trump pointed out that his administration has cleaned, renovated, and beautified more than 45 monuments and memorials, 28 statues, and 22 fountains in the nation's capital, and that Washington, D.C., has gone from a crime-ridden disaster to one of the safest cities in the country on his watch.

"We've had some real problems with vandalism at the beautiful reflecting pool," Trump wrote. "Just like three days ago, they destroyed the grass outside of the pool; they've also done everything possible to hurt the inside surface that was just installed."
...
Trump said the vandals used chemicals similar to those deployed elsewhere on the National Mall in an apparent effort to destroy and demean the freshly completed work. He also called out ABC's Jonathan Karl by name, saying the reporter was caught on camera sticking his hand into the pool and trying to tear off the sealant on the surface.

Trump said the algae plaguing the pool is now 75% gone and that the damaged section, which he described as small, will be repaired early next week.

That Trump-Haters need to quibble the effect and appearance of Trump's renovation and need to sabotage the Reflecting Pool demonstrates how insane they have made their Trump-Hatred.

First the reflecting pool and who knows what is next, but I won't be surprised if they try to burn down something in D.C. next.

There are quite a few government statues and memorials on which Trump-Haters can crap.

At this point, I have to assume Dim'Rats are all either INSANE or EVIL.
(There’s no question at this point that DUmp'Rats are both insane AND evil.)

Republicans should run with this team algae thing.

This election season, we’re not running against Democrats, we’re running against team algae (a good symbol for government overgrowth).

Help me understand this because I've just seen a few headlines and haven't done any investigation. I know that there's some algae bloom (or some such) in the reflecting pool and that there are some issues with the liner. Anyone who has been around construction knows that, regardless of how diligent contractor is, occasionally things happen which brings a negative result. I had just assumed that this stuff was in the "things happen" category, but is it actually a situation of evil demonrats MAKING it happen?

DC Park Police have arrested (on at least two occasions I'm aware of) leftist scum - to include one former US Olympic kayaker - dumping algae from Georgia, South Carolina and other swampy, stagnant locations from 5-gallon buckets into the reflecting pool. Others have been arrested for chipping/tearing away the blue liner that was installed in the reflecting pool during its restoration.

All charged with vandalism.
