It's amazing, and a little scary, how quickly the DUmp will totally flip on anyone who dares to step even slightly out of line. It also is another great example of how hypocritical they are.
Right after Fetterman had his stroke in 2022, during his Senate campaign, questions were raised by both Republicans and Democrats, about his cognitive capabilities and ability to serve as a Senator. Those questions were thoroughly dismissed at the DUmp. They claimed he was in excellent health even though he was having severe issues with his ability to communicate. They called anyone having concerns about his mental fitness an "ableist". They blasted Republicans as being heartless and cruel for even discussing his health issues. Now they call him "brain damaged" and claim that the stroke profoundly affected his personality. I don't remember any Republican referring to him as "brain damaged", but apparently that's okay now.
They also loved the fact that he wasn't a classical prim and proper politician. They posted thousands of posts about how much they enjoyed the fact that his typical clothes were shorts and hoodies. They screamed bloody murder when the Senate forced him to put on a suit in the Senate Chambers. Now, they talk about what a slob he is and how inappropriate he dresses.
And all it took for them to go from loving him as a great progressive to hating him as much as they hate Trump is his support of Israel and his endorsement of a handful of Trump initiatives. Other than that, he votes almost unanimously with the Dems.
