I just can't shake it. As the child of a refugee and an immigrant myself, I have suffered first hand what war does to both the people fighting it and their families. We never should have gotten to this point. What the **** is wrong with the god damn republicans? As a citizen I apologize to the world. Most of us would love to sit at the table with you and bask in both our diversity and yet sameness.

We all long for shelter, to be clothed, nourishment , education, health care and most of all, community.

To my sisters and brothers in Iran, I do not support trump, in fact I abohor what he is doing. It weighs heavily that I am a citizen of a nation that will commit war crimes and crimes against humanity.

A child of refugees who fled murderous oppression should understand that Trump is trying to take down Iran's "civilization"-of-oppression and free Iran's people. This grandson of refugees - my Dad's parents were Volga Germans who fled Russia before the Revolution - gets it. They did well in the US, no whining from me on that angle.

Unlike gopiscrap, I'm not self-blinded by Trump-Hatred. Had LIEden or OhBummer! done this instead of placating the Mullahcrats, trying to buy peace, and thereby giving them time to develop nuclear weapons*, I would give them credit for doing something very right.

BTW, in 2008-2009, there was a popular uprising in Iran. OhBummer! could have supported them, but instead betrayed them. Could the Mullahcrats have been deposed? Who knows, but OhBummer! did not even try.

* Remember when Israel hacked Iran's centrifuge network in 2009, causing them to spin out of control and self-destruct? Might that have set back Iran's timing enough that Iran didn't make nuclear weapons during LIEden's MalAdministration? :shrug: Or forced Israel to act preemptively against Iran without the support of LIEden's Israel-hating minions?

gopiscrap is deeply sad because Trump is succeeding and is working with Israel. And that Israel is unlikely to face a nuclear threat from Iran in many years, if ever.

Your "brothers" like the protestors and dissidents who have been executed by the Iranian regime over the last couple of weeks under very questionable charges, trials and confessions?  Your "brothers" who are celebrating the deaths of dictators?  Don't get me started on how your "sisters" have been treated under the ayatollahs over the last almost 50 years. 

Y'all are just outraged by what your string pullers tell you to be outraged at.  Y'all only know the parts of the stories you are told, and only believe the parts that you are told to believe.
