When I commented a week ago about the gas price I had been seeing for about a month, the price had been $5.40 per gallon. It's California taxes and Envirocracy higher than most states and has been for decades. On to my point, last Friday evening I got gas, because my tank was getting low and I had a running/walking event Saturday, and the price was $5.27 per gallon, down 13 cents.
It looks to me like Trump encouraging domestic production and development has stabilized US gas prices, higher than anyone would like - except for Trump-Haters,

- but not as volatile as in some countries.
