“We fought Nazis back when they took over Germany,” Gardiner said, “and we’ll fight them here, too.”

He said that a sense of empowerment, and a commitment to peaceful protest, motivated him to attend the rally.

“I want to oppose Trump in the most peaceful way possible and tell him that we are sick of him and there’s more of us than him, and he just needs to go,” he said. “It feels empowering, and it makes me feel like we are gonna make a difference finally. People are starting to wake up, they’re starting to realize he has lied to us, everything that he has said is not true and just a cover-up for his own terroristic crimes.”

Such self-inflating drama. If Gardiner opted out of the Kona "event" because it was "too hot", then fighting actual nazis would be way out of his comfort zone.

My father fought the Nazis in the 1940's in North Africa, I don't think he bothered to check the temperature of the day when it came to going through Algeria and Tunisia where he and half of his Battalion had to finally surrender to the nazi's when all of their ammo ran out and all they had to fight with against Rommel's tanks and troops was small arms and machine guns. So FO you whiney little bitch over how hot it was during your little protest.
