As we have sadly and often shockingly witnessed over the course of the last decade, “Trump Derangement Syndrome” is a deep-seated mental health issue that plagues and often destroys the minds of so many in the Democratic Party, the media, academia, Hollywood, and the left in general. A real illness which can, has, and continues to trigger self-contaminated minds on the left to sacrifice countless innocent human beings, the country and world over, rather than admit that President Donald J. Trump is — or has been — correct about…anything.

We are now dealing with this exponentially menacing mental health issue in real time as we watch the exceptional and heroic Armed Forces of the United States – under the orders of Commander-in-Chief Trump – lay waste to the brutal dictatorship in Iran, which has killed and terrorized hundreds of thousands over the years, including the murder and wounding of thousands of American troops. Again, a self-inflicted mental health issue in which many on the left would literally rather see the monsters ruling Iran continue to brutally subjugate their own people while exporting terrorism around the globe than admit Trump was right to finally take action when so many “leaders” of the past continually kicked the can down the road out of fear of doing the right thing.

And that is the ultimate sin for so many on the left. How dare the oppressed praise him for saving them? The greater Left is beyond petrified that the “Trump Doctrine” will not only succeed in Iran but lead to more stability and peace across the Middle East. Please take a moment to wrap your mind around such a twisted and ugly way of thinking. Many on the left would truly rather see the people of Iran continue to suffer under a murderous dictatorship while the greater Middle East is further poisoned by terrorist cells controlled by the regime.

To be sure, some of those most petrified by the prospect of Trump’s success in Iran and the Middle East exist in the Congress of the United States of America. Far-left “do nothing” Members of Congress who for years let Barack Obama and Joe Biden unilaterally do whatever they wanted to around the world now suddenly believe it is their “duty” to stop Trump from crushing a murderous regime while liberating over 90 million in Iran. As what is left of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard “leadership” continues to launch thousands of missiles against the U.S. forces, our assets, and our allies in the region, the likes of Virginia Democratic Senator Tim Kaine and others seek to handcuff President Trump and our courageous troops.

Jon Stewart: Media ‘Squandered’ Trust with Trump-Russia Collusion ‘Hype Machine’

Stewart revealed his thoughts about the issue on his podcast The Weekly Show when speaking with MS NOW host Ali Velshi.

“I think within the media, it gets back to — you talked about it earlier — you said, ‘It’s about what you earn with your audience.’ And I wonder if, in media, they’ve squandered some of that based on those incentives,” said Steward.

“So, for instance, we’ll go back to, like — there’s always that rush of, like, ‘Now we’ve got Trump, and the Mueller report, and it’s Mueller time,’ and all these things,” he continued. “And the hype machine that generates that, whether it was for action in Iraq or accountability through these special counsels — that it raises an expectation of its audience.”

Velshi called that very hype machine a “dopamine rush” that ultimately led to nothing. Stewart likened it to a hamster wheel that ultimately numbed the audience.

“The more you run on that hamster wheel, or gerbil wheel … I wonder if that begins to numb your audience to consequence. And is that where the trust has been lost? That not only is it about holding to account, but it’s about tempering their expectation,” Stewart said.

I never watched his show, but I have to ask, how much time, how many bits did Stewart do on the Gotcha-Trump hamster wheel? Is he now calling out as a trust-loser what he himself did back in 2017-2019?

HHS Report Finds MN Child Care Agency is Skipping Fraud Checks, Attendance Verification.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has revealed that the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) failed to adequately verify attendance records or pursue fraud tips in its Child Care Assistance Program. Findings from an oversight visit conducted on January 22-23, as revealed in a letter published on March 2, contend that the state agency lacked sufficient staff and resources to combat fraud effectively, with only four investigators assigned to address potential violations.

Concerningly, Laurie Todd-Smith, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Early Childhood Development at HHS, found that Minnesota’s DCYF “[l]imited staff and resources… to adequately pursue fraud tips and conduct proactive investigations.” Additionally, the Assistant Secretary noted, “Minnesota did not demonstrate that they are currently implementing required program integrity training for providers across the state.” This suggests that Governor Tim Walz (D) and other state officials have taken no proactive steps—despite their public claims—to curb ongoing social services fraud in the state, and have raised concerns about the misuse of federal funds, as child care centers could receive payments without reconciling billed hours against attendance records.

Todd-Smith also stated in the letter that Minnesota lacked a mandatory statewide process for reviewing and acting on county-level single audits. She also highlighted that the state had not conducted necessary “onsite visits” to ensure compliance, a requirement emphasized in previous federal audits. The Trump administration previously flagged concerns about fraud in Minnesota’s child care programs, with President Donald J. Trump alleging that as much as $19 billion in federal funds may have been misappropriated.

MN's (and probably many other states') social program agencies view themselves as ATMs that don't verify eligibility or do oversight.

Comer says Lutnick has agreed to testify in Oversight panel's Epstein probe

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said Tuesday that Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has agreed to voluntarily testify in front of his panel as part of its probe into Jeffrey Epstein.

Lutnick has come under fire recently after he allegedly lied to Congress about his connection to Epstein during his confirmation hearing. Lutnick previously said he had cut off all contact with Epstein after first meeting him in 2005, but admitted last month that he also had lunch with Epstein in 2012.

Comer did not specify when Lutnick's deposition will take place, but said he has "proactively agreed to appear voluntarily" before the panel.

The fuller story about the 2012 lunch is that it was on Epstein's island, for an hour, Lutnick's wife and children were with him, and they arrived on Lutnick's boat during a longer boat trip. IMO, the Dems are Trump-official scalp hunting.

Democrats view Abigail Spanberger as the perfect model for how Democrats should run for office this year, and I have to admit, they are on to something.

Former Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares slammed Gov. Abigail Spanberger after a released illegal immigrant with a long rap sheet stabbed a woman to death at a bus stop. Abdul Jalloh allegedly stabbed victim Stephanie Minter at a Fairfax County bus stop after prosecutors had dropped charges in most of his previous cases. He was reportedly arrested more than 30 times.

Fairfax County Commonwealth's Attorney Steve Descano most recently dropped violent charges against the alleged perpetrator, according to local news reports.

"Not even a month since I called out Gov. Abigail Spanberger for signing her EO banning law enforcement from cooperating with ICE we see the bitter fruits: Abdul Jalloh entered the U.S. illegally, stabbed an innocent woman to death at a bus stop this week despite having a [...] criminal history of more than 30 arrests, according to DHS, including for rape, malicious wounding, assault, identity theft, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, assault and pick-pocketing.' ...

The Department of Homeland Security has put a detainer on this model (non)citizen, and Spanberger has doubled down on her insistence that under no circumstances will she cooperate with ICE, even to deport a rapist and murderer.
