But I just wrote both my US Senators, Nelson and Martinez and told them what a monumental failure their leadership was. Every single one of the Senators and Congressmen, not to mention the President should return their paychecks. They all suck!

Well now, don't underestimate the power of the pen.

By the way, since you're from Florida--I've asked this question before, but am still trying to collect answers--why did Paula Hawkins not get re-elected to the U.S. Senate from there in 1986?

Of the class of 1980, I found her remarkable; a great lady.

I wish I had the answer but I do not. I don't even remember paying attention to politics in 1986. I don't think I became aware of all the BS until Clinton. I will see what I can find out though.
