A simple (but serious) question about DUers
« on: Today at 12:56:02 PM »
Do DUers have the ability to think for themselves IF they’re not given instructions by their DemonRat overlords? Or, in lieu of instructions by their overlords, do they just revert to whatever groupthink programming the other lemmings are following?

Very frequently one can find the Dem pol source of DU-folks' (uncredited) claims and opinions. Original thought that deviates from the DEM Party line earns granite pizzas.

What SVP said.  If they wander from the group think, they simply vanish.  brooklynite was one of the more sane ones and he had good information he tried to give them, but his good information hurt their ears and their tiny brains, so they made him vanish.

He gave them real world news from inside the party and a lot of it wasn't good.  Poof!  Gone.  Came back, and Poof!  Gone again, never to be seen again.

Would they believe what they want to be true? What they fear is true? I'm not sure. Leftists seem like the sort of people who just kind of assume they know things.

Is former9thward still around? Or did he too get a pizza for posting some truth DUpipo didn't want to hear or be heard?

Rush called out Dem pols and their parrotage of "Gravitas" over 25 years ago, and they still continue to reveal they have a talking-points-sharing network through repeated word/phrase usage.

Yes, right before theyre tombstoned (in some cases).

But, that doesn't imply that theyre thinking in a sane way.

Just thinking in a way that deviates enough from the groupthink to be banished.

That's a rhetorical question right?

That's a rhetorical question right?

 :rotf:

I’ve been thinking about it, and I probably need to clarify. I’m sure that DUers have something within their skull (where normal people have a brain) that allows some sort of thought process to take place. By that, I mean that if their nose would fall next to a pile of dog crap, I assume that they have the process to decide it smells badly.

Of course, based on some of their posts, I may be giving them way too much credit with that assumption.

Anyway, back to subject and what I’m talking about. I’m going to use Airwolf as an example (maybe he won’t mind). Although I’ve never met Airwolf in person, I’ve been reading his posts way back since our CU days and have even interacted with him a time or two. From that, I’m able to decide FOR MYSELF that he’s an okay guy. I don’t need anyone else to tell me what to think. I don’t need to know every individual that he’s voted for or every ballot measure that he’s voted for. On top of that, if he happens to say something that I don’t agree with exactly, I don’t, by default, automatically kick him into the “evil” category. Instead, I just say “oh well, we don’t happen to agree on that” and go about my business with Airwolf still being a good guy that I just happen disagree with on a point. Do DUers have the mental ability to do that? Do they have the ability to decide whether they like or dislike an incident or a person without being instructed by their overlords or without knowing the person’s voting stance?
