Protestor killed after attempting to murder ICE agent in Minneapolis

ICE agents were involved in a shooting in Minneapolis earlier today, and a woman is dead after authorities said she allegedly tried to ram law enforcement with her vehicle.

Local Authorities held a press conference this afternoon to discuss the shooting, and Mayor Jacob Frey blamed ICE for the violence, saying claims of self-defense are "bulls**t."

This is despite several videos showing the woman tried to strike an ICE agent.

Interestingly enough we have seen this from the other side.  I can't tell you how many videos I've seen of liberal protesters jumping in front of vehicles and if those vehicles move so much as an inch toward the protester you see the liberals start screaming and pounding on the vehicle, and in some cases breaking out windows and dragging occupants out.

How is this any different?  That woman was hitting the gas pretty hard!  And I'm seeing some people claiming there was no black ice on the roads, but one of those agents CLEARLY slipped and fell down.  He's on the far left in one of the videos.

It's become cler to me from this incident, the Kenosha shooting, and their opposition to stand-your-ground laws, that the left believes that if you're attacked, they expect you to die.

It is clear to me that if this goes to trial that the officer won't get a fair deal after the mayor and Walz have made their idiotic statements about the shooting. I just watched some of the videos and it looks like to me that she was driving fast enough to kill someone. And then you add to all of this, Walz activating all of the state's law enforcement and National Guard in case he wants to send them into the area where ICE is and there is another protest. If he does this there could be more bloodshed than he realizes.

The first video I saw, in SSG's initial Shoutbox post did not show the front of the woman's SUV. IOW, the endangered ICE agent could not be seen. But as I posted, there having been just 3 pistol shots plus the difficulty of hitting a moving target unless it is coming toward the shooter* was enough for me to realize that she was trying to hit an ICE agent.


* Back in my teenage days of hunting doves and pheasants I knew that birds coming straight toward or going straight away from me did not need to be led.

There is a still photo of a bullet hole in the windshield on the drivers side.  Kind of hard to do that if you're not in front of the vehicle.

IF she had just stopped when they approached her car and talked to them, she would still be alive this afternoon. I don't know how many times I have seen the police go over the proper way to interact with them to avoid getting into any kind of trouble. The old Chris Rock video of how to not get your ass beat by the police is more than a comedy sketch.

ICE agent released from hospital, Noem says

Noem said the ICE agent involved in today's shooting was "hit by the vehicle" the victim was driving.

"She hit him. He went to the hospital. A doctor did treat him. He has been released, but he’s going to spend some time with his family," Noem said.

She said the officer, whom officials have not yet identified, had been attacked before while on the job.

"In fact, the very same officer who was attacked today had previously been dragged by an anti-ICE rioter who had rammed him with a car and dragged him back in June. He sustained injuries at that time as well," she said.

* Obstructing law enforcement officers carrying out their duty;

* Disobeying a lawful order;

* Fleeing from detention;

* Assaulting a law enforcement officer with a deadly weapon.

The determination of whether she "deserved" (in the eternal sense) to be killed for all that is above the pay grade of humans, but the consequences were foreseeable.
