Red states have low electric rates. Blue states gouge residents and businesses with exorbitant rates. But even worse are the bald-faced lies blue-state politicians tell you to defend the gouging.

        Instead of admitting that expensive electricity is a choice they're deliberately making -- your budget be damned -- they lie, claiming wind and solar power are "affordable" and "reliable."

        The shameless gaslighting was on full display last week, in response to a Trump administration edict pausing offshore wind farm construction along the East Coast near Virginia, New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

        The administration claims that the huge installations obscure the detection of potential foreign adversaries that could threaten "east coast population centers." President Donald Trump paused construction until a solution, if any, could be devised.

LIEden & minions probably knew that these bird choppers would mess with defense and civilian radar, but LIEden & minions would not give a @#$%.

WRT rates, because bird choppers and bird fryers are not economically viable and because they are intermittent, utilities are forced to buy their power at well above market rates AND keep extra generating capacity online to supply the gaps caused by insufficient or excessive wind and night time. Hence the higher rates.

Government whistleblowers who reported widespread fraud in Minnesota were retaliated against on the job by having their vacations and promotions denied — and their every keystroke at work monitored, The Post has learned.

Rep. Kristin Robbins, a Republican who chairs the state’s Fraud Prevention and State Oversight committee, told The Post that whistleblowers who have come forward to report fraud to her committee and to their agencies claimed to be “electronically surveilled” after news stories about the Somali daycare center scams went viral.

“The group of whistleblowers that I interact with claim that they’ve been denied vacations, promotions, and that it’s hurt their careers,” said Robbins, who is running for governor against the incumbent and former Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz.
