DOJ Releases More Epstein Files, Calls New Trump Claims ‘Untrue And Sensationalist’

https://dailycaller.com/2025/12/23/jeffrey-epstein-doj-trump-todd-blanche-files-release/

The DOJ announced the release of nearly 30,000 additional documents related to the late registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in a post online. However, the department said some of the records contain false and exaggerated claims against President Donald Trump.

“Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election,” the DOJ wrote. “To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.”

...
In a 2020 email, a federal prosecutor claimed Trump “traveled on Epstein’s private jet many more times than previously has been reported,” citing at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996.

One trip included only three passengers — Trump, Epstein and a 20-year-old whose name was redacted, according to the email. Trump was allegedly also listed on other flights alongside his then-wife Marla Maples and two of his children, Tiffany and Eric.
...
The files also include a letter allegedly signed “J. Epstein” and addressed to convicted sexual abuser Larry Nassar. While the alleged letter is dated before Epstein’s death on Aug. 10, 2019, an image released by the DOJ appears to show it was postmarked Aug. 13, 2019 — three days after his death.

The DOJ first posted Tuesday on X that it was examining the alleged letter’s “veracity.” However, the department said it was fake in a subsequent post.

“The fake letter was received by the jail, and flagged for the FBI at the time,” the DOJ wrote, saying the FBI determined that the writing does not seem to match Epstein’s and the document was postmarked three days after Epstein died.

Well, there should be a lot of DU- :jerkit:-ing over this, so let's look at the devils in the details DUpipo would not want noticed:

* The 8 flights on Epstein's plane were between 1993 and 1996, about a decade before Epstein's perversions became publicly known;

* On at least 2 of the flights Trump was accompanied by his wife and two children; obviously and minimally, these were no-sexual-shenanigans flights, probably just rides between FL and NYC;

* Known/proven false claims from the 2020 Campaign were among the files? It's almost as if Dems and Progs had an organized effort to flood the FBI with falsehoods with the expectation some would wink! wink! get leaked;

* The Epstein-Nassar letter over which Dems and Progs are :jerkin:-ing was and is known to be, based on evidence, phony? It's almost as if it were part of a pre-election effort to slander Trump that got triggered prematurely by Epstein's death.

Purported Epstein letter that referenced President Trump is fake, DOJ says

A salacious letter purportedly written by Jeffrey Epstein that directly referenced President Trump is fake, the Justice Department said Tuesday.

“The FBI has confirmed that this alleged letter from Jeffrey Epstein to Larry Nassar is FAKE,” the DOJ wrote on X hours after it pledged it was “looking into the validity of this alleged letter.” ...

The Justice Department cited several reasons for its conclusion, including a handwriting mismatch, an incorrect return address missing Epstein’s inmate number and a northern Virginia postmark dated three days after Epstein’s death at New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center.

Democrats’ push for Epstein files boomeranged with Clinton featured prominently throughout

Democrats' push for the release of documents surrounding convicted sex offender and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein through a House vote appears to have backfired, as the disclosures intended to scrutinize Team Trump have instead spotlighted their own party's connections, including former President Bill Clinton's prominent mentions and salacious photos with the disgraced financier and/or young women. Clinton had long been married to Hillary Clinton at the time the photos were taken.

The boomerang also hit Virgin Islands Democrat Delegate Stacey Plaskett in a swath of 2019 text exchanges with Epstein that were revealed during a congressional hearing on Trump, in which Epstein appeared to guide her questions, prompting Republicans to highlight Democratic hypocrisy.

Kiddie porn investigation stalled while Clinton was in White House
Adding to the headache for Democrats is the fact that, in this most recent tranche of formerly-classified documents, it's been revealed that the first known opportunity to investigate, and possibly charge Epstein — with child pornography — was during Clinton's time in office, but his Department of Justice (DOJ) declined to proceed.
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

Barnes & Noble to open 60 new stores in 2026

The company, which, in addition to books, sells music, toys and games, and features cafés within many of its locations, said it plans to open 60 new stores in 2026, both in new markets and ones previously served.

"Barnes & Noble is enjoying a period of tremendous growth as the strategy to hand control of each bookstore to its local booksellers has proven so successful," the company told FOX Business in a statement.

The bookseller said it is experiencing strong sales in its existing stores and has opened new locations after more than 15 years of declining store numbers.

Barnes & Noble said it has confirmed leases for 2026 in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, Washington state and Washington, D.C.

It looks like B & N has successfully managed to re-balance its business between brick-and-mortar stores and online sales, and between physical paper and e-readers/apps. I'm mildly surprised one or more stores will be opened in CA. Some malls are dying or dead, like Vallco in Cupertino and San Francisco Centre. OTOH, B & N may have gotten so lean - e.g. closing 2 or 4 stores in the San Jose area - that there is some room for growth. Letting local managers control more what they stock was smart, as decent managers know what their customers want and buy.
