The Myth That the J6 Pipe Bomber Was a ‘Trump Supporter’ Just Blew Up

https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2025/12/06/the-myth-that-the-j6-pipe-bomber-was-a-trump-supporter-just-blew-up-n4946758

Quote
Once again, the left’s favorite narrative just collapsed under the weight of facts. The media tried to frame the alleged J6 pipe bomber as a Trump supporter, and asserted that President Trump’s claims that the 2020 election was stolen motivated him. It was a dubious claim to begin with, and we here at PJ Media questioned it immediately. It turns out we were right. That claim has been debunked.
...
On Friday morning, the usual suspects in the legacy media rolled out a narrative in perfect sync. MSNOW, citing unnamed sources, claimed Cole told the FBI he is a Trump supporter who “believed conspiracy theories about the 2020 election” and held anarchist views.
...
The problem with this narrative was that it was based entirely on anonymous sources, just “people familiar with the matter” whispering into the ears of reporters who are more than happy to repeat anything that supports their preferred storyline. This did not slow them down. Left-wing influencers and legacy outlets pounced anyway, reporting the Trump-supporter angle as a settled fact.

It turns out the left's narrative is what really just fell apart.

How do we know? Well, Cole’s family spoke up, and the legacy media’s shiny narrative started to crumble. Cole’s grandmother, Loretta, says he has no party affiliation, never votes, dislikes both parties, and shows no interest in politics at all.
...
This is not an isolated mistake. In September, after Charlie Kirk’s assassination, media voices rushed to insinuate that his killer had MAGA ties. They floated it long enough for the impression to form, then moved on when it did not hold up. There were similar attempts to suggest that Thomas Matthew Crooks, the man who tried to assassinate President Trump last year, was actually a Trump supporter. The pattern is obvious. Whenever violence occurs in a political context, they reach first for “right-wing,” “MAGA,” “Trump supporter,” and they run with it even when the facts don’t support it.

So Dems, Progs, and their MSM-parrots have moved on from simply speculating in advance of facts and then moving on when facts disprove their speculation to speculating in advance of facts, making claims contrary to known facts, and then after facts overwhelm their lies, moving on the their next lie.

Erika Kirk and the Bimbo-ization of the Feminist Movement

https://pjmedia.com/scott-pinsker/2025/12/06/erika-kirk-and-the-bimbo-ization-of-the-feminist-movement-n4946763

Quote
Before the #MeToo movement went (badly) off the rails, it made some very valid — and long overdue — points about predatory male behavior: Our wives, sisters, and daughters shouldn’t be subjected to unwanted sexual advances in the workplace. There is something weird, gross, and unsettling when a 60-something CEO has an affair with his 19-year-old secretary.

But then, of course, #MeToo went too far — which wasn’t really its fault: Successful movements always go too far, because they push, push, push until the blowback is too great. At no point in the #MeToo movement did its leaders say, “Y’know, we’ve made a lot of progress, girls. Let’s take a break and have a White Claw.”
...
That’s the root cause of the Pendulum Effect in PR: First, everything swings too far this way, then it swings too far that way.

But it very rarely resets exactly in the middle.

Hopefully, during each pendulum cycle, you’ve gained net ground. That’s the smartest way for political activists to play the game.

But if you’re not careful, the blowback can be so severe, you actually LOSE net ground.

That’s my theory of what happened to feminism during the Monica Lewinsky scandal: Had the feminists better managed their movement, the #MeToo uproar would’ve happened at least a decade earlier.

Because in their fervor to protect Bill Clinton, they discredited themselves.
...
But history has a nasty habit of repeating itself: Remarkably, the feminists are about to make the same mistake yet again!

This time, it’s not in defense of a Democrat’s libido. It’s in their cruel, sexist, absurdly chauvinistic attacks on a grieving widow.

Her name is Erika Kirk.

To most Americans, Erika is a beautiful, brave woman whose husband was stolen from her and her young children. Through it all, she’s tried her hardest to honor her husband’s legacy — reciting his story with teardrops rolling down her face.
...
The smartest, kindest (and most obvious) tactic for the radical left would’ve been to simply say, “We might not always agree with the political opinions of Erika Kirk or her late husband, but we’re so sorry for her loss and wish her family well.”

But they simply couldn’t resist the impulse to attack Erika Kirk — and not just her political beliefs, but her appearance, clothes, motives, and even her sexuality.
...
Still, the left-wing media hasn’t stopped attacking her. Consider the flood of headlines:

Quote
Slate: Why Do So Many People Seem to Think J.D. Vance Is About to Replace Usha Vance? Glad You Asked.

Salon: Why JD Vance and Erika Kirk’s hug made tongues wag

Ms. Magazine: The Return of the Tradwife Gospel

New Republic: Why the Hell Did JD Vance and Erika Hug Like That?
...
Buzzfeed: “Hands In JD Vance’s Hair Huh”: Erika Krik’s Introduction of JD Vance Is Going Extremely Viral
...
Atlanta Black Star: ‘Happiest Widow I’ve Ever Seen’: Charlie Kirk’s Widow Goes Viral for Skin-Tight Leather Pants And Flirty Stage Moment with JD Vance

The verbosity of this article is almost Dickensesque (I'm getting grumpy with commentary articles whose authors don't get to their point for half or more of their article), but it aptly applies a trend among activists and how Progs are doing it again. TBH, I do not mind feminazis self-beclowning, again.

Federal judge orders Asheville to pay 5 white residents in discrimination lawsuit

https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/local/crime/article313367040.html

The city of Asheville must pay five white residents who filed a federal lawsuit claiming they were racially discriminated against when they were rejected from a volunteer board that advises the city on equity, according to a news release from a Western North Carolina group.

WNC Citizens for Equality said the Human Relations Commission of Asheville posted application forms indicating “white persons were automatically excluded from serving unless they could prove a ‘plus factor,’” such as being gay or transgender or living in public housing.

It's sad that a Federal court has to teach gooberment bureaucrats that "Screw Whitey" is not part of the definition of "Equity".
