You will see comments on fb posts about the continued democrat subsersion of America with their false accusationsof war crimes. One of their comments is about international law. The moment I see it, I know that they are stupid.
First, I will say this, if their actions were a war crime, I would say it. I have nothing to lose.
If I didn't have knowledge on the subject, I would say it was my opinion.
This is a fact no matter what anyone says.
International law absolutely allows interdiction and use of force against hostile or noncompliant vessels in international waters. LOAC, UNCLOS, MDLEA, and customary maritime law all authorize action against vessels that pose a threat, evade interdiction, or engage in drug trafficking. A disabled vessel and people hanging onto the hull do not meet the legal definition of ‘shipwrecked’ or ‘hors de combat.’ International law does not protect hostile actors until they are unmistakably incapacitated and non-threatening.
Here’s why people claim “international law prohibits this” even though it does NOT:
They want:
• a moral narrative
• a political weapon
• an emotional storyline
• a way to attack the administration
• a way to spark outrage
• a way to blame the U.S. military
They COUNT on the fact that civilians:
• don’t read treaties
• don’t read LOAC
• don’t understand maritime interdiction
• don’t know what “stateless vessel” legally means
• don’t know that the Coast Guard literally can use this every day
Their actions are information warfare against the United States of America, not legal analysis.
The libturds just show how uneducated and ignorant they are when they try and say our military violated international law and war crimes.
