Interesting. I knew Trump had pardoned him, but the article I read conveniently left out the part about insurrection and impeachment.
There are some interesting counter-Prog-narrative aspects to this. The first is that the Cuellars' daughters thought it worth their time to write a letter to Trump and think of a way to be sure he would see it (IOW, they trusted Truth Social not to give them a granite pizza). They at least thought it possible that Trump is not the hateful racist Progs claim he is (maybe they saw pictures of Trump's senior officials?).
Another interesting aspect is that while Trump is pursuing people who broke laws in their lawfare against him, he is not blindly vengeful, as Progs claim Trump is. Obviously, Trump was and is not happy with Pelosiroo's shampeachments, but while Cuellar supported Pelosiroo's Hate-Trump efforts, Trump recognized that the Cuellars had been railroaded to some degree.
There also is a gap - of how many weeks or months, I don't know - between the writing of the letter and the pardons. I'm speculating that Trump had Justice Department people look into the Cuellars and realized that what was done to them was disproportionate to whatever they did - i.e. a mole hill got Himalayanized.
