I’m confused. Did OS’s friend kick out, stop listening to, Rogan and Newsmax? Or did she kick out (and start divorce proceedings?) her husband for listening to Rogan and Newsmax? As stupid as the latter would be, a DU-grade Prog would do that and call themselves overly patient.

Maybe it's just me, but the way it's written, it sounds like Steve is claiming that his made up friend is married to Joe Rogan and NewsMax.

His wording is equivocal.

Personally, I would not want NewsMax or MesSNBC on in my home continually. Our fare includes Jeopardy!, several cooking-competition shows, and, recently, the British show "The Supervet". The latter follows selected surgeries (diagnoses through recovery processes) by orthopedic veterinarian Noel Fitzpatrick, who is part orthopedic surgeon and part mechanical engineer (he grew up on a farm, no surprise, in either respect).

My last girlfriend was a Democrat and she was worried that we wouldn't get along when we first started dating. I told her I loved her and I am not interested in talking politics or trying to change your mind. We had four good years together until she passed away after heart surgery back in 2017. Why anyone would put politics ahead of your relationship is beyond me..
