I need a break

It’s not you, it’s me. I love all of you even when we disagree but the news around at home and abroad is taking a toll on my mental health. I’m going to a break from all news, find something stupid to do and re-center myself.

3. I hear that

The onslaught of bad news can be tough to deal with, and I always recommend that people take breaks if they’re feeling burned out.

I hope you are able to find your way back before too long — your informative posts on elections around the country are always very welcome.

6. I'm getting close to that. The horrible daily news of the Orange buffoon is exhausting.

Here's to health and healing.

that's great to hear and when you are re-centered always remember that Trump is still your President

I mean, we know why they feel the need for attention and validation from others, but really, there's no good reason, just leave.
Romans 6:17-18 But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.

Because being too kind is among my greater faults, :-) , I have a few no-scarcasm suggestions. Why not join me at Quarry Turkey, https://brazenracing.com/quarryturkey/ . It's at Quarry Lakes Park in Fremont on the Saturday morning after Thanksgiving. I'll be walking the 5K, a course that is entirely within the park and is scenic to the point that it's almost easy to forget the park is within a city.

A good Thanksgiving Day turkey trot is the Zoom Turkey Trot, https://runsignup.com/Race/CA/SanJose/ZoomTurkeyTrot , in south San Jose. Or perhaps ZombieRunner Quarry Lakes on December 6th, https://runsignup.com/Race/CA/Fremont/ZombieRunnerQuarryLakes .

I've done all three at various occasions in the past and they are well organized and as relaxing as runners/walkers want to be.

If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

Look no further than the site you’re on, and the news you’re following. Getting away from those who keep you addicted to fear and rage is the smart thing to do.

I think that gig is already taken, unless that DU-member went out of business and moved.

I'm guessing this onslaught of bad news could be over Trump getting things done while his entire administration has been "managing" the MSM reporters and not allowing them their sacred right to bowl over conservatives. Trump has done more than any President for peace And several foreign leaders have been vocal in support of his efforts. But, Trump's global success just can't offset that persistent burning and itching associated with mild to severe TDS.
