Steak ‘n Shake Will Install the Biggest Possible American Flags at Its Restaurants Nationwide

https://pjmedia.com/tim-o-brien/2025/10/05/steak-n-shake-will-install-the-biggest-possible-american-flags-at-its-restaurants-nationwide-n4944485

Whether the move is genuine or just shows that Steak 'n Shake has an uncanny ability to read the room, the hamburger chain last night did something that is sure to win over more than a few American patriots. In a post on X, Steak 'n Shake revealed that it’s begun American flag installations at its branches.

Because local zoning ordinances vary from location to location, Steak 'n Shake said that the size of the flags and flag poles will be dictated by what is permissible in each location, but the policy itself is to erect the largest flags and tallest poles possible.

In response, X posters were universally supportive with a huge response, starting with none other than X owner Elon Musk, who replied to Steak 'n Shake’s post, “I’m ordering from there tomorrow!”

Steak 'n Shake is mostly east of the I35 corridor (eastern TX north to Omaha, NE, though there are some in CA, mostly in the Land of LA and San Bernardino--Riverside area. There is one location in San Jose, in the CSU San Jose campus.

Regardless of the sentiment behind this marketing move, it will be a (probably) inadvertent troll of America-hating Progs. It will be interesting to see what cities try to block this and in what cities local haters throw tantrums. I doubt there will be a flag at the San Jose location, as the S&S is in some sort of campus plaza with multiple fastfood stores.

aside from the size of an American Flag violating FAA regulations by being a hazard to aerial navigation, why can or should any municipality restrict the size of an American Flag?

Arab-Pali hatred for Jews and Israel being what it is, I'm not holding my breath hoping Hamas will stop their attacks on Israel. That said:

Trump on the Verge of Ending the Israel-Hamas War, and the Left Is Furious About It

https://pjmedia.com/matt-margolis/2025/10/05/trump-on-the-verge-of-ending-the-israel-hamas-war-and-the-left-is-furious-about-it-n4944487

Quote
Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shocked the world with a bold peace plan to end the Israel–Hamas war and stabilize Gaza. On Friday, Trump gave Hamas a deadline — accept the deal by Sunday at 6 p.m. Eastern or face consequences. Hamas quickly responded, agreeing to give up control of Gaza and release all remaining hostages, while saying some details still required consultation with other Palestinian factions. Trump’s firm deadline and direct approach have already accomplished what years of empty diplomacy never could — real progress toward peace.

But, rather than celebrate the prospect of peace, some commentators seem triggered by the idea that Trump, of all people, might succeed where countless global leaders have failed.
...
Even CNN host Abby Phillip couldn’t deny the implications if this pans out. “If President Trump is able to do this, this is a major—it’s a major victory for him,” she said, before quickly pivoting to suggest Trump’s motives might not be purely humanitarian. “He wants the war to end for a lot of reasons. Some of them are personal reasons. He wants that Nobel Peace Prize,” Phillip said. But even she conceded that Trump “does not like the idea of all the death and destruction.”

That’s when the tone shifted from analysis to thinly veiled resentment. Liberal commentator Alencia Johnson admitted it was “challenging to actually hear that piece of, you know, Trump being—potentially being the one to get the ceasefire deal.” Her discomfort was palpable. “I would be interested to understand President Trump’s interest in this,” she said, suggesting skepticism about his motives. “He has said some things that are very harmful to the Palestinian people. I don’t know, you know, what his motivations are.”

1. I seriously doubt that Trump cares much about the Nobel Peace Prize, and he knows that there probably are two chances the Nobel committee would award it to him, slim and none.

2. Trump may accomplish what LIEden did not in the 15 1/2 months following Hamas's 10/7/23 invasion, murder, and rape. Envy.

3. In the context of the other conflicts that Trump has resolved through negotiation and his ongoing efforts in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Trump really "does not like the idea of all the death and destruction." Trump is leveraging US might to resolve conflict, something beyond the imaginations of Progs who want the US to be weak and servile to orgs such as the UN and ICC.

VP Vance, Speaker Johnson Demand VA Dem AG Candidate Drop Out After Texts Mention Shooting Speaker, His Children Dying

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2025/10/04/vp-vance-speaker-johnson-demand-va-dem-ag-candidate-drop-out-after-texts-mention-shooting-speaker-his-children-dying/

Quote
Vice President JD Vance and House Speaker Mike Johnson have both called on Virginia Democrat attorney general candidate Jay Jones to withdraw from the race, citing private text messages he sent to Republican Delegate Carrie Coyner in which he entertained a hypothetical about shooting then–House Speaker Todd Gilbert and referenced his children dying.

Vance posted on X“The Democrat candidate for AG in Virginia has been fantasizing about murdering his political opponents in private messages. I’m sure the people hyperventilating about sombrero memes will join me in calling for this very deranged person to drop out of the race.”
...
Johnson added,“These text messages are plainly disqualifying for anyone who aspires to public office.

There is no conceivable justification for wishing violence against a political opponent and their children.

Mr. Jay Jones should immediately withdraw his candidacy, save himself and his party from further embarrassment, and take some time to reflect.”

AG Bondi to Appeal the Perversion of Justice in the Sentencing of Justice Kavanaugh's Would-be Assassin

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2025/10/04/ag-bondi-to-appeal-woefully-insufficient-sentence-for-justice-kavanaughs-would-be-assassin-n2664470

Quote
Amy had the story yesterday: the would-be assassin of Justice Brett Kavanaugh got the deal of a lifetime. Why? Well, because the suspect is now transgender. Even worse, the presiding judge took that into account at sentencing, giving Nicholas John Roske, aka ‘Sophia, only eight years for this attack on our judicial system. The Justice Department was asking for 30 years. In 2022, Roske tried to assassinate the sitting Supreme Court justice, traveling from California to the Kavanaugh home, where he was arrested with zip ties, ammunition, a knife, and a Glock handgun.
...
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced they would appeal this ruling:

How the would-be-assassin's sexual identity delusion is relevant to his crime and sentence eludes me.

Muslims accused of vandalizing church in Texas argue First Amendment right, so far jurors disagree

https://justthenews.com/nation/states/center-square/muslims-who-vandalized-texas-church-claimed-first-amendment-right-jury

Quote
Three Muslims charged in connection with vandalizing a church in Euless, Texas, last year argue doing so was their First Amendment right.

So far, jurors have disagreed, convicting one man, Raunaq Alam, of vandalism but not of a hate crime.

Alam was one of three charged in connection to the vandalization of a nondenominational church, Uncommon Church in Euless, in Tarrant County in March 2024. They are accused of spray-painting “expletive Israel” and affixing pro-Palestinian/Hamas stickers on the exterior of the church building, among other actions recorded on a church security camera.
