DOJ Sues to Save Minnesota From Itself and Its Sanctuary City Policies

https://pjmedia.com/tim-o-brien/2025/09/30/doj-sues-to-save-minnesota-from-itself-and-its-sanctuary-city-policies-n4944282

Quote
The Department of Justice (DOJ) yesterday sued the state of Minnesota, the City of Minneapolis, the City of St. Paul, Hennepin County, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Hennepin County Sheriff Dawanna S. Witt over what the DOJ described as “the State’s, Cities’, and County’s sanctuary city policies that interfere with the federal government’s enforcement of its immigration laws.”

In announcing the lawsuit, the DOJ said that sanctuary city policies are illegal under federal law and that the state, the cities, and the individuals mentioned in the lawsuit have refused to cooperate with federal immigration authorities. This, the DOJ claims, results in putting dangerous criminals back on American streets “who would otherwise be subject to removal, including illegal aliens convicted of aggravated assault, burglary, and drug and human trafficking.”

The "sanctuary city" movement should have been crushed in infancy by Reagan or GHWB, IMO. This is long overdue.

Former Democrat Candidate Who Called Trump ‘Lunatic Zionist’ Confesses on Live TV to Killing His Parents

https://www.breitbart.com/crime/2025/09/28/albany-man-arrested-after-he-confesses-to-killing-his-parents-on-live-tv/

Quote
An upstate New York man was arrested this week moments after he left a TV studio where he confessed in an on-camera interview that he had killed his parents.

Lorenz Kraus, 53, made the disturbing confession to CBS6 in Albany on Thursday, admitting that he killed his parents eight years ago. Kraus was at the station to respond to police recovering two bodies on his property the day before.
...
Kraus also made a presidential run as a Democrat in New Hampshire in 2020, Albany’s Times Union reported.  He campaigned on a platform of dissolving the presidency and promoted a series of antisemitic conspiracy theories, according to the newspaper.

The Albany newspaper also reported Kraus’s conspiracy-driven online posts over recent years revealed a hatred of the British, the Council on Foreign Relations, Freemasons, and Jews.

In a 2020 interview, while running for president, “Kraus called Trump a ‘lunatic zionist waving a gun in everyones face,’ when asked if he was a nationalist.”

I'm pretty sure that despite his antisemitism, Kraus was insignificant as a Dem Presidential candidate in 2020.

Detroit rapper Dank Demoss settles lawsuit with Lyft after driver denies ride, says she won't fit in the car

DETROIT (FOX 2) - A lawsuit over a Lyft driver refusing to give a Detroit passenger a ride because he said she would not fit in his car was settled earlier this summer, according to court records.

Dajua Blanding's attorney, Zach Runyan, confirmed that the discrimination lawsuit was "resolved," but could not speak further on specifics of the case.

The backstory:
Blanding, who raps under the name Dank Demoss, requested a Lyft to a Detroit Lions watch party in January, but when the driver arrived and saw her, he told her that he was unable to give her a ride due to her weight. Demoss was recording the encounter.

"I can fit in this car," she can be heard saying, to which he responded, "Believe me, you can't."

'I can fit in that car': Detroit rapper sues after Lyft driver says she won't fit in his vehicle, refuses ride
Detroit rapper Dank Demoss is suing for discrimination after a Lyft driver refused to give her a ride because he said she would not fit in his car.

The driver then told Blanding his tires couldn't handle the weight, apologized, and mentioned ordering an Uber XL - a larger vehicle. He added that he would refund the ride so she wouldn't be charged.

Having seen another pic of this shakedown-artist female that is rated :spork: :spork: :spork: :spork: :spork: , "land whale" is not much of an exaggeration.

Islamic school collapses killing at least three people, with dozens more missing

An Islamic school in Indonesia has collapsed killing at least three people, with dozens more missing.

The building gave way on Monday on Indonesia's main island Java where students at Al Khoziny Islamic boarding school were gathered for afternoon prayers.

At least 38 people are still believed to be trapped, while rescue workers dug throughout the night and pulled out eight injured survivors

This was magnitude 6.0. Indonesia is seismically active, and local building codes (and compliance) may not be suitable for such a region.

Captured documents reveal Hamas organized, funded Gaza flotilla

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/captured-documents-reveal-hamas-organized-funded-gaza-flotilla/ar-AA1NzoDp

Quote
Documents found in Gaza and released by Israel’s Foreign Ministry on Tuesday traced direct Hamas involvement in organizing and financing a “close-knit” flotilla seeking to break the Israeli blockade of the Strip.

“This confirms that key assets of the flotilla are effectively owned and controlled by Hamas,” the Foreign Ministry said. “They clarify the chain of command and financial support behind these operations, which have long been presented under civilian pretense.”
...
The second document contains a detailed list of PCPA activists, including senior Hamas figures directly involved in the flotilla operations. Among the names highlighted by the IDF is Zaher Birawi, the head of the PCPA’s Hamas sector in Britain, who has reportedly led Gaza-bound protest flotillas for more than 15 years.

Non-surprise. St. Greta is a Hamas pawn ... wonder if she knows.

Strong earthquake in central Philippines damages building and sends people out of their homes

https://srnnews.com/strong-earthquake-in-central-philippines-sends-people-out-of-homes-and-sparks-local-tsunami-warning/

Quote
MANILA, Philippines (AP) — A strong offshore earthquake of magnitude 6.9 shook the central Philippines late Tuesday, injuring several villagers, damaging stone and concrete buildings and sending people scrambling out of their homes, officials said.

The earthquake was centered about 17 kilometers (10 miles) northeast of Bogo, a coastal city of about 90,000 people, where the intense shaking damaged concrete walls of houses and a fire station, knocked out power in the city and caused deep cracks on asphalt roads, firefighter Rey Cañete said.

“We were in our barracks to retire for the day when the ground started to shake and we rushed out but stumbled to the ground because of the intense shaking,” Cañete told The Associated Press by telephone, adding that he and three other firemen sustained cuts and bruises.

A concrete wall in their fire station collapsed, Cañete said. He and fellow firefighters provided first-aid to at least three residents, who were injured by falling debris and collapsed walls, including an elderly man with head injuries who they took to a nearby hospital, he said and added that more residents may have likely been injured due to the intense shaking.

This was in northern Cebu Island, and almost 10X the strength of the Indonesian earthquake. A 6.0 is nothing to sneeze at, but it appears that building standards in the Philippines are more earthquake-conscious than those of Indonesia.

Politico Reporter Who Said She Cried Over Trump's Election Now Covers His Presidency

https://freebeacon.com/media/politico-reporter-who-said-she-cried-over-trumps-election-now-covers-his-presidency/

Quote
As a master's student at Northwestern University's esteemed journalism school in 2020, Cheyanne Daniels revealed that she cried when President Donald Trump was elected four years earlier because she knew "horrible things were to come." She now covers the Trump presidency for Politico.

Daniels joined the outlet as a breaking news reporter in May following a three-year stint as a "race and politics reporter" for The Hill, where she covered both the 2024 election and stories like, "John Boyega: 'Star Wars' 'most whitest, elite space,'" and, "'Power Rangers' actor splits with writer, says casting a 'milestone.'"
...
The posts raise questions about Politico's decision to hire Daniels for a role that, at least for the next three years, revolves around coverage of the Trump White House and, ostensibly, requires neutrality.

Politico has a racist Trump-Hater reporting on Trump's Presidency ... anyone surprised?
