He just can't be that stupid, right?

In a press gaggle in the Oval Office. Trump was asked “why wasn’t the flags lowered for Melissa Hortman after she and her husband were assassinated”? Trump acted like he did know who she was and then he proceeded to claim that Governor Wall did not ask him to have the flags lowered.

Ok, yes he’s that stupid! He is the president and he doesn’t need to be asked! Several presidents over years have lowered flags in respect for certain people and they didn’t need to be asked, they just did it!

Trump’s idiotic statement has one his lamest answers yet and yes, there have been so many! I’ve lost count!

Oh and for a side note? If we are at war with the right, why did he fly to England during a crisis here in the states? Once again, his propaganda priorities are mixed up!

It was a silly shit-stirring ambush-question, a failed moral equivalency attempt.

1. Melissa Hortman was a state legislator, not a nationwide figure. It's a large difference in scope of influence.

2. The assassin had no coherent political motive/agenda. He was a nutjpb with some sort of messianic complex over obscure concerns or personal conflicts.

IOW, the assassination of Melissa Hortman truly was a "local story", not of national scope.

.......

If you feel this strongly against President Trump, then I suggest you not vote for him in 2028.
Biden is an illegitimate President.  Change my mind.

In the real world imanamerican63 doesn't want to exist, Trump is too smart to fall for reporters' ambush-questions.
