i was talking to a friend of mine today. we were talking about newsom and she had nothing good to say about him at all,calling him a transphobe,a corporate stooge,a republican lite,all the usual bullshit.

i asked why she considers him a transphobe and she said it was becasue hes not in favor of transwomen competeing in womens sports. she didnt like me pointing out that doesnt make him anti trans,there can be a serious debate about whether they should be allowed to compete. I know both sides and while i favor letting them compete I can at least understand the other side.

so i asked her who would you favor that has a realistic chance of beating the GOP. becasue that is heh only thing that matters. purity tests are what led to the orange maniac winning. a lot of dems were pissed at how she won the nomination and refused to vote for her. and we see the result.

is newsome the candidate with teh best chance in 2028? I dont know. priztker? aoc? I dont know who would have the best chance but its newsome then im 100% onboard team newsom. if its pritzker then go pritzker. I dont care who it is as long as they beat the GOP.

No candidate is perfect. but all that matters in winning.

They, like their leaders and heros, make an art.of asking the wrong questions.

They think its about 'who', rather than 'what'.

Until they start getting on the 80 side of 80/20 issues, instead.of the 20 side, its going to be a toughbslog for them.

The electorate has spoken, over and over and over again. It may be the year 8020 (wouldnt that be fitting?) before they figure it out.

How is saying "all that matters is [Democrats] winning" any better than a purity test? :o

The left has become a a band of misguided misfit children wandering around in the political wilderness looking for a leader who can give them purpose in life and who isn't Trump. 

The band of misfit children readily accepted biden in 2020 solely because he wasn't Trump.  They actively ignored that he wasn't mentally capable for the job because he wasn't Trump.  When he was pushed out of the 2024 campaign they eagerly worshipped kamala despite her inability to clearly communicate because she wasn't Trump.

Now The band of misfit children are having a national mental breakdown because their 3rd rate candidate didn't make the cut in 2024.  They were shell shocked and quiet for a few months after the election but as they saw Trump come in like a tornado and begin to make changes on day they became desperate because Trump showed what an effective leader can do.

The band of misfit children gravitated towards AOC, then Crockett appeared to gain traction, but even they knew that those 2 couldn't pass muster in 2028.

Then this annoying governor from California with his childish antics and behavior decided to make a splash on the national scene with a plan to violate the State constitution and set the stage to openly rig the deck against his party's political opposition and disenfranchise millions of conservative voters in his state. 

The band of misfit children suddenly have a figure they can coalesce behind despite the fact that the state he supposedly is governor is a dumpster fire with record unemployment and homelessness rates, high energy costs, highest state taxes in all the nation, a $100 billion boondoggle of a high speed rail project, billions of tax payer dollars lost or wasted on ineffective homelessness programs or fraudulent unemployment claims paid out during COVID.  And let's not forget how newscum took at $97 billion surplus and magically turned it into a $45 billion deficit on this governor's watch. 

But the band of misfit children don't see the cracks in the Potemkin Village that is which is gavin newscum.  They are happy with him as long as he isn't Trump.

Scarcasm aside, does Noisome have the credibility among Dem voters to win the Dem nomination? Even in CA? I’m not sure CA Dems are DU-grade ABT, and I think many Dems in and out of CA think Noisome is crazy.
