They really don't want us to have Medicare for all
Well, if I am part of "They",
DU-Member dcmfox is correct. This chart of MRI machines per million population for various countries illustrates why I would oppose "Medicare for all",
https://www.statista.com/statistics/282401/density-of-magnetic-resonance-imaging-units-by-country/ . MRI machines are a basic diagnostic tool. The US is 4th highest on that list, but of the 3 that are higher, only Japan is significantly higher.
As for the countries with government-run healthcare that DUmmies worship, Canada and the UK, Canada is 27th of the 30 countries for which there is data, and there is no data for the UK. The US has ~3.76X the per-million number of this basic diagnostic tool as does Canada. As for the UK, if its number is similar to Italy and Germany, the US has an almost 12% greater number; if the UK is more like France and Ireland, the US has about a ~115% greater number. This is just one indicator of the under-equipment of government-run healthcare systems that lead to delays in diagnosis and treatment and "medical tourism".
