With criminals being removed from the streets, restaurants and street markets are more likely to have increased business (except those that already were continually full, of course). Safer streets, normal people more willing to go out and about. So the 25% reduction in business claim is farcically absurd.
Considering how much of DC is leftist/left leaning and likely falling for the "Gestapo" rhetoric, a temporary drop wouldn't be surprising. But once people figure out they can go out and not be harassed by folks in need of mental health services as well as the homeless folks, I suspect business activity will go up, assuming it actually dropped to begin with.
These moonbats so desperately want a dictator to fight and rally against. They want to be oppressed so they can claim to be part of a great resistance that will be in the history books someday. In reality, if they faced real oppression, they would collapse in a corner and soak their pants. A real dictatorship would be opening fire, full auto, no rubber bullets on so many of these obnoxious "revolutionaries".
