Looking for a picture hanging gizmo or a 'fool proof' method to hang several pictures evenly. I would like to hang a group of 4 (2)top (2) below and also a group of three horizontal.
Need to add wire to the back and they'll be ready to hang the problem is how to get them perfectly straight across the top. I vaguely remember seeing something in one of the hobby stores a device of some sort to hang pictures. Anyone know about this?
How do you hang pictures to they're perfectly lined up when hanging them in groups of 2 or more? I'm pulling my hair out here
You know, there's no point in trying to do this.
franksolich is an expert on hanging pictures.
franksolich has more than 200 custom-framed pictures here, and would have more, excepting that this place is circa 60% windows, and one can't hang pictures on windows.
franksolich just merely bangs a nail into the wall, and hangs the picture.
franksolich has many visitors, nearly all of whom are awed by the framed pictures on the walls.
None of whom has ever complained that none of them are in a straight line.

2. I'm ok as far as how to attach the wire to the frame. All I have to do it cut a piece of wire and attach it to the metal loops already attached to the frame. The problem is how to get the frames to line up evenly on the wall. The wire no matter how you cut it will always be a little off in length - I want the top of both pictures to be the same height like this:
____ ____ top
____ ____ bottom
I can't remember where I saw a device that resembled a T square that was used to hold the picture against the wall and allowed one to mark where the nail should go. And you're right - trying to 'splain this stuff in writing sucks LOL

3. There is a picture hanging kit
With a level included With little holes to mark where to put the hangers into the wall. About $15.00 You simply fallow the directions!
Are your picture frames different sizes?
OK so, picK the spot than hang the first one. By the way have you ever shot a Lazar line across a wall? ! And do you have a good tape measure ? !
I got all kinds of words, no problem!
Same size frames or different sizes?
Man, one can spend a whole week trying to be perfect, and at the end of the week, still be as imperfect as ever.
