A WOMAN is a legal adult. A GIRL is a female CHILD, a legal minor, by definition "underage". The usages are deliberate, and intentional, designed to cover up crimes against females.

She may mean that "girl" is intrinsically an underage female, but even without the racist use, "girl" in reference to adult women is still current usage in some contexts (e.g. "You go, girl!"). Of course, pointing this out makes me a misogynist (in the same way many facts are DeFacto, Reich-Wing).
