This is why the Department of Education needed to be disbanded.

Where were the people on that thread getting their claim that "Right-Wingers" were the source of disagreeing with US participation in WW2?

WW2 kind of came to US shores with the Pearl Harbor attack, and for every, "FDR did to Japan," there are responses that stretch all the way back to the 1931 "Mukden Incident", the start of the Second Sino-Japanese War (did Hoover act in response to that?). Arguably, Japanese imperialism traces back to the First Sino-Japanese War, when Japan seized the island of Formosa and the Russo-Japanese War, from which Japan took over the Korean Peninsula, but WW1 kind of paused Japan's imperialist actions.
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

If I had to guess, they're probably referring to post-WW1 isolationist sentiments.

Not to be confused with the sentiments of people like Joseph Kennedy.
