I volunteer as a receptionist/greeter at a local food shelf two days per week.
On Monday, we are locking all the doors and no one can get in the building without being buzzed in (I do the buzzing at the busiest door). We are adopting this policy/process so ICE goons can’t walk in and haul hungry people away. Forty percent of our participants, who all need free food, are immigrants.

Yea, federal agents will wiggle the door handle and immediately give up/go away when they are thwarted by such ingenious treachery.

give a rather substantial donation to the Food Bank of the Rockies every year......During Covid, we doubled it.......
Money goes so much further because they can buy the food they need at wholesale, rather than retail prices.
They are extremely well run, with countless volunteers chipping in time and energy. I think the admin costs run
about 3%..........which is incredibly low.
If any of you live in the northern front range of Colorado, consider volunteering or sending a donation.....

If this food bank actually exists (remember that DUmmies lie) AND if this DUmmie does donate to them (remember that DUmmies lie), the fact that the DUmmie mentions it and allegedly donates to it means that it is a left-wing organization because we all know that a DUmmie will not knowingly help anyone or any group that is remotely moderate or conservative. With that in mind, along with knowing how crocked lefties are and how they like to skim money, I very much suspect that the DUmmie's claim that the group's administrative costs are only about 3% is complete and utter male bovine excrement.
