Given the US military assets publicly known to be positioned near the ME, I don't think boots-on-the-ground is in the offing. OTOH, were I in Iran's navy I think I'd take permanent leave. Between Israel's capabilities and US capabilities currently in the area, I would not want my life bet on the remaining Mullahcrats being wise enough not to try to close the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf.

The Military works best when you have a homogeneous group of people trained and working together for a common goal.

When I served, I don't recall being given the choice to sit one out because of my gender, skin color or sexual preferences.

     Iran can be handled with conventional weapons delivered by air and surface/surface. The liberal delusion that all military confrontations are solved by tens of thousands of soldiers on traditional battlefields is quizzical, to say the least. Also odd are the calls for Republican men to join up now, when all of Obama's attacks were met with universal liberal approval.

     Ironic, also, that if we DO suddenly need tens of thousands of new soldiers, they certainly won't come from the stock of faggy liberal soydudes milling around college towns.
