I was wondering about this the other night.  Wonder what would happen if a bunch of conservatives who are tired of the bullshit just lined up between the cops and the rioters, with sheilds, batons, helmets, etc., and just started marching into the rioters in a line telling them to disperse or they would be dispersed with extreme violence.

Would the cops intervene or ... just let it happen and pick up the pieces when it was done?

Abbott deploys National Guard to San Antonio ahead of anti-immigration enforcement protests

Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott on Wednesday deployed the state National Guard to San Antonio ahead of anti-immigration enforcement protests scheduled this week.

"Texas National Guard will be deployed to locations across the state to ensure peace & order," Abbott posted on X, sharing an article by the San Antonio Express-News on his deployment of troops to the outlet's city. "Peaceful protest is legal. Harming a person or property is illegal & will lead to arrest. @TexasGuard will use every tool & strategy to help law enforcement maintain order."

The protests are scheduled for Wednesday and Saturday.

San Antonio Police Department Assistant Chief Jesse Salame told the  newspaper that Chief William McManus "was able to confirm that Gov. Greg Abbott deployed National Guard troops to San Antonio" on Monday night.

Hopefully a fair number have been deployed to Dem bastions Houston and Austin.

* Riots in 5-10 cities, some of which will get squashed and some of which the mayors will defend;

* Noisy but not very violent tantrumming in 20-50 cities;

* Several hundred cities and towns where a handful of whiners get laughed at.

The protests will start peacefully but members of the Proud Boys dressed as BLM will start trouble giving ICE an excuse to open fire on innocent protesters with live ammunition. This will so infuriate onlookers, the once neutral observers will join the crowds as they swarm the Trump-stapo. This will be carried on live TV except for Fox, which will cut away due to "technical difficulties." As the groundswell swells on the ground many of the military will turn on the dictator. Those who remain loyal will fight desperately to hold an ever shrinking parameter before they realize all is lost and throw down their weapons. The Trump family will race out the back of the White House towards Marine 1, only to be told by the pilots that they are only authorized to transport the President of the United States of America and that is Kamala Harris and she has ordered the Trump family be taken into custody to stand trial where at least he will get due process, unlike Abrego-Garcia who will watch the Trump trial from the public gallery. And then America will truly be great.
