Well, if you set the time span of the "Initial Claims" graph here,
https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/ICSA , to 5 years, you can see that the monthly claims have been ranging between 190K-260K since November 2021. The 4 highest months were during LIEden's term, and another LIEden-term month is tied for 5th with May 2025. So, yeah, knowingly or unknowingly,
DUmmie Miles Archer chose a time span that hid the 4+ years of context and that this supposedly horrific number was not the worst in that 4+-year time span.
Given how low-factual-information the average DU-member demonstrates they are, it's hard to tell whether
DUmmie Miles Archer lied-by-omission or is ignorantly parroting some ProgMedia source's lie-by-omission.
ETA: I see from the DU thread index that no DUmmie thought to check the broader time context for the hype-claim.
