Dear orangecrush, nothing forces you to buy your food from Whole Paycheck and Kroger, your clothes from Levis and Nike, your computer and/or tablet from Dell and Apple, or your phone from Apple and Samsung. "Vote" with your dollars!

IRL, The 1% got their $$$$ by creating/selling products and services people want, and by owning a part of companies who do that. If Proggies don't like profitable companies, they can refuse to buy their products and services.
