Prog Dog didn't bark, possibly/probably due to not being present. Comparing Rooklyn's statement to that of loser Ann M. Gaffney's, what jumped out to me was that Rooklyn grew up locally, while Gaffney is a recent transplant (from New England).
The winner in this race, another open seat, Deltra Ferguson,

Incumbent Rebecca Dyson, who seems generally liberal, was reelected, i.e. no change,

Maybe more to the DU OP's point here's the Top Issues page from the winner of the Medford school board position, Angela Zbikowski,

Schools should not be used to play politics with our kids. Education should be focused on core subjects, critical thinking skills, and preparing our kids for success in the real world.

Tree Lady is exaggerating Dem success, in school boards at least.
The Jackson County Library District Board races seem similarly partisanly exaggerated,
