The credit union told me they are "working with the feds"and my deposit will automatically go into my new account with no action required on my part. Bank mergers are even older than you, so I'd take them at their word.

I find this very hard to believe. It's a PLOT! Orange Man! MUSK!!

To lose even one monthly deposit or have it delayed would be disasterous.  Might send you to the dictionary, for openers.

Any suggestions? Go **** yourself.


Just a reminder that all they really care about are their Social Security payments. That's it. Nothing else matters.

Since the Dems and their MSM-parrots started this Chicken-Little-ism, Social Security payments have gone out on time for the months of March, April, and part of May. Give it up, DUmmies! Reality has crushed your fantasy-narrative and ground it to powder!

1. Welcome to the realities of banking life. You're old enough to collect Social Security and you have never experienced this before? ::)

2. Probably not, but regardless, the acquiring institution will have planned this out so that customer impact is as near zero as possible.

3. This DU-Denizen has been neglecting this for years? ::) And has not experienced an identity theft attempt? :loser:-in-the-making!

4. Welcome to rural and small town life! The DU-Denizen should have known what they were choosing when they chose to live there.

5. My bank has gone through two buy-outs in the pst 15 or 20 years, basically transparent to us, plus or minus learning to use a new online banking app. Of course, most DU Denizens still believe the Trump-Russia-Collusion Delusion, so what DU Denizen orangecrush believes and reality probably have little, if any, coincidence.

Went on NextDoor Karen over the weekend and a Karen was was super concerned that she hadn't received her SS check (yes check not deposit). She thought Trump or Musk had done something to it. DUmb biatch didn't realize that the earliest payments go out is on the second Wednesday and that this month second Wednesday is the 14th.

So I tell her that and question how she ties her shoes. Needless to say my post goes bye bye.
