Can the Entertainment industry have an impact in any way by calling a boycott against Hanes?

I'm just wondering what industry, as a whole, would make a difference quickly to send a message to El Salvador.

In all fairness, DUmmies, if underwear could boycott YOU, believe me, they would want no part of the goopy rat's nests you freaks are packing.

I have to confess, I have NO idea what this addict is saying.

I don't know if she even works any more in the TV industry.

I think she is small potatoes and it would look foolish to go after her.

     I think this person is under the impression that "Hanes" is a performer. You cannot make up the level and depth of a DUmmy.

1. What good/decent thing did Hanes do to earn DUmmies' ire? Manufacture their products in El Salvador, giving Salvadorians jobs, i.e. reasons not to invade the US? ETA: Hanes Brands has been manufacturing in El Salvador for some 30 years. Hanes products are ~10% of El Salvador's exports. Given the brand images of Hanes labels and the reality of many DU-folk, I doubt their boycott-tantrum will have much effect. Not even Beefy-T shirts come in size Extra-Whale. But Hanes should hope DU-grade Progs keep trying, given Progs' CfA boycott success.

Is raskin saying that he is ok with our POTUS forcing a US citizen to go to a foreign country just because the leaders of that foreign country are demanding it?

     The DNC does its onanistic divination ceremonies to determine what the messaging should be, and once the ball-gags have been put away and the lube has been washed off, they transmit the messaging to the networks and the influencers. The DUmmies consume those messages and reframe them, and spread them on DU. That is the provenance of the DUmp messaging. They used to have a more direct line to the DNC, but they sent him away.

11. Well damn!

I have to wear a surgical stocking on my left leg but right leg is fine so the color difference is very noticeable. When wearing the Hanes Support hose tan, it makes my legs look the same color so doesn't highlight my slight disability and helps my right leg veins too. I haven't bought a pair in awhile, but my old ones tore recently so needed a replacement. DAMN!

Guess I will be looking for something different.

This person has a medical condition that requires a Hanes product, the brand she prefers for this.  She has no idea why some DUmbass is calling for a boycott of this company.  What the hell did they do?  But, she follows blindly, depriving herself of a medical item she needs. She could have kept quiet, but no. 

Some other DUmbass says his next protest sign is "Boycott Hanes."  Nobody knows quite why.  Someone else listed customer service numbers to call.  When you get a rep on the phone, what are you supposed to say?  Just for their stupidity, I'm going to buy some socks this weekend.

* The government of El Salvador received their deported citizen, did not demand the US take him back, and told 5 Dem Congress Critters to take a hike;

It seems that bashing El Salvador is the new checkbox to be X'ed out for any Dem politician with future political ambitions.  But I have to wonder when someone is going to ask these grandstanders the obvious question:  "What authority does El Salvador have to just ship one of their citizens to some other nation?".  The US legally deported an illegal alien back to their home country.  Their home country is responsible for him now.  If some other country volunteers to take him that's between El Salvador and that country.  It's not any of our government's business.

I find it kind of funny how the Dems are constantly arguing against the US exerting "undue" influence in other countries affairs and how often the like to throw around the term "colonialism".  But some illegal alien becomes their poster child and all of a sudden, we're supposed to destroy El Salvador politically and economically, potentially through the use of military force.  And weirdly, the hill they are willing to die on is on the losing side of the immigration discussion.  The majority of Americans polled want the majority of illegals deported.  The results get mixed when the discussion turns to illegals who have been here a long time without any issues or who were smuggled in as children.  But overall arguing for the rights of illegals is not going to win over any new voters.

And why hasn't anyone on DU mentioned the Logan Act lately?  That used to be their go-to position whenever anyone outside the Biden Administration tried to influence a foreign head of state.

I can see the comparison, but I'm not sure that it is competely fair to Wile. Granted, he did come up with some plans that were too over-the-top, but most of them maybe would have worked if not for the ineptness of his supplier. Now that I think about it, I have to wonder if his supplier, ACME, is actually an alias from the DemonRat Party.

Was being my usual self obviously a touch sarcastic, as J.B. is a giant lib-turd and weighs more than Tyrus or Michael Moore. Perhaps combined. And DeKalb, Illinois is about 60 miles outside of Chicago. It was finally that respite once you escaped the Tri-State or Eisenhower expressways out West of Aurora (home to Wayne's World) where the former Mrs. Wiggum and I could find a decent restroom and stretch our legs on just off of I-88.

Looks like Monsanto owned DeKalb seed company for almost 20 years and then sold it to Bayer in 2017.

Back in the 60s my Dad was working some with a seed company - I don't think it was DeKalb, but a competitor - toward breaking the 200-bushel-per-acre barrier/goal. He had a couple of award plaques from the company's "200 Bushel Club". Looking back, I guess my Dad was an unwitting co-conspirator in debunking Paul Ehrlich's 1970s mass-starvation prophecy.

I hope that Illinois has an essential contract with an El Salvador supplier and that company cancels it with Illinois or triples the price until illinois follows federal immigration law.

Which gets me to thinking how communist anti-law blue states boycott freedom and liberty loving patriotic red states, can the federal government boycott communist anti-law blue states the same? No travel, no supplier contracts, no money to those states.
