Sarah rally in west Denver
« on: September 13, 2008, 07:42:21 PM »
Hey,,,,

Gov. Palin is scheduled to hold a rally about 1 mile from my home on Monday.  The tickets were given out Friday in south Denver and were gone in less than an hour.

Now, as I heard it, this was going to be a pancake breakfast / stump speech kind of thing at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.  That's a small venue.

Since then, I've heard that the McMcain folks are reconsidering due to the huge demand for tickets.  Maybe change venue.

Maybe try to fill Mile High Stadium?

Hoo Raa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and in Denver... sweet !
My fellow Americans, there is nothing audacious about hope. Hope is what makes people buy lottery tickets instead of paying the bills. Hope is for the old gals feeding the slots in Atlantic City. It destroys the inner-city kid who quits school because he hopes he'll be a world-famous recording artist.

What's the difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama?

One is a well turned-out, good-looking, and let's be honest, pretty sexy piece of eye-candy.

The other kills her own food.

I would really like to see them fill that stadium.

Sarah Palin gave a speech in Carson City, NV on Friday.  There were 3,500 seats available... 10,000 showed up.

Uh, as a former Denver (Lakewood) resident, I hate to tell ya, anything east of Genessee Park or anything within 10 miles of I-70 (Vail, Idaho Springs, etc) ain't "country".  That being said, at least she didn't try to hold a rally in SaudiAurora or Boulder.
