MichMan (14,133 posts)50. So, Florida and Texas are actually gaining people, not losing them.
LeftInTX (32,328 posts)51. Yes. The OP is from a SM post with no article or context linkedReply to MichMan (Reply #50)Thu Feb 20, 2025, 02:09 AMJust because there are more home for sale in Texas and Florida than other states doesn't mean people are leaving the state. Duh...more people live there, so there are going to be more homes on the market. It doesn't show net migration or anything.
Liberal In Texas (14,910 posts)57. At least around here the metro population is growing way faster than is comfortable.Reply to LeftInTX (Reply #51)Thu Feb 20, 2025, 06:49 AMYou notice it traffic jams on streets that never had traffic jams 20 years before. Tons of house construction and enormous apartment complexes. They're not building these things because the population is fleeing. And another company is relocating their HQ to Plano - KFC!
This is what happens when a DUmmie does "research."

What a fail. Chilling to know that most of them get their news from DU. They rely on it for truth.
As the Florida resident for the past 50 years, who has seen the explosion of growth, specially Liberal Yankees from up north it breaks my heart. If they want to leave, I would go and help them pack
