I'm on the other side of the country, but I'm pretty sure that is not something Goobernor Hochul has the authority to do. The State of New York has this thing called a constitution, and it defines and limits governors' authority.

OTOH, maybe Goobernor Hochul could get AG Letitia James to fabricate a faux-criminal-case against Adams for something he did as a teenager or twenty-something - tore off a mattress tag or bought untaxed cigs from a street vendor.

Got news for you DUmp'Rat: Governor Hochul doesn't have the authority to "FIRE" NYC's elected mayor. He's not her employee, moron.

Also; since the whole reason they want him out is that he's state's evidence for Donaldus Magnus against Kathy Hochul and Letitia James, for Hochul to even attempt to "fire" him would be a HUGE conflict of interest/appearance of impropriety.

It's interesting. KnobGobbler loses an election an everyone says it's because of racism, but let a black mayor not been knee to the dem overlords on one issue and racism disappears, and a white woman is encouraged to "fire" a black mayor. I guess that in their minds he shouldn't have disobeyed his masters. Tell me again, which side is racist?

Live and learn I guess. But the mayor himself didn't have much of anything nice to say about Trump until he needed he needed him. He had to know how  Biden and co.'s policies never stood a chance. But he played along till he couldn't.
