I have asked just about all the nurses that have attended me, where they came from, as far as hospitals. All of them have said they came from for profit health care. They all said that like working for the VA and they came here because they got into healthcare to help people in need, not to help the bottom line of the investors.

Yesterday they all got the resign letter. I have been here for 3 days, the care is excellent. Everyone is so helpful. I don’t think I could be getting any better health care.

Now the billionaires want to cut it. I guess they just don’t have enough money to make it through the day. I’m sure they worry all day how they are going to survive because a billion just isn’t enough.

Support the Vets was just a slogan not an actual policy.

Now I understand pres muskrat wants to gut Social Security.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is exempting large swaths of its more than 470,000-employee workforce from the Office of Personnel Management’s “deferred resignation” offer.

The VA, in an email sent to employees Thursday evening, said it plans to exempt 116 Veterans Health Administration positions from the deferred resignation program (DRP).

These exemptions include frontline health care positions, as well as support positions such as police, firefighters, maintenance and food service personnel.

The Veterans Benefits Administration is exempting five positions — rehabilitation counselor, general legal and kindred administration, veterans claims examiners, appraisers and vocational rehabilitation specialists.

I've probably mentioned this before, but I've got a FB friend (who was a real world friend) who's an idiot. Once, I almost asked her DU name, but than I came to believe that she may actually be too stupid to be a member of DU. Yeah, she's that bad. Before the election, she posted some stupid BS and told everyone that she knew it was true because she does her research. It turns out that her "research" was to copy and paste something from MSNBC.

I would imagine that if you were to meet her in person and introduce yourself as some sort of high level official in the dem party and tell her that the party has info that Trump was going to try to ban people from eating snow that dogs have pissed in even though dem research has shown that dog piss snow is full of vitamin C and tastes like lemonade that before the day was out she'd be on Facebook declaring her right to eat dog piss snow regardless of what Trump says.

I had talked to my senators staff this morning, again completely red state, they said it was for only remote workers. More lies coming from the gop.

I wish they'd look at all of the entitlements. Several years back, sometime in the 90s, it was blazing hot and the humidity was terrible. The job we were working on was hell even without the heat and humidity. At around 2:00 PM, we were all worn out so I decided to call it a day. As we headed home, aching and drenched in sweat, we passed a large oak tree. Sitting in the shade of the huge oak were about 10 men that appeared to be in perfect health and about the same age as all of us in the vehicle. One of the guys said, "That's strange". When I asked what was strange, he said that he thought it was strange that all of those guys just happened to be on vacation at the same time. From that day onward, I've often wondered how much of the money that I sweated to earn went to support them so that they could relax under a shade tree and drink beer.

Well I was at the local VA last Tuesday and none of the staff said anything about getting a letter. I will be going in on Monday and I bet I won't hear a thing then too DUmmies lie, they lie all the time.

Well as I was leaving the local VA hospital yesterday, the lady who was driving the van that helps Vets get from the hospital to their cars in the big parking lot was talking to another driver about her status. As I was listening in she wasn't sure if her job was protected or not. The other driver told her to check and make sure her job title hadn't changed otherwise her position could be in danger of getting cut. So I guess there is something to this but we will have to see if someone whose job is so low on the totem pole is on the chopping block or not. I asked her some questions on the way to my car and we both said that if anyone should be first to go is the government contractors since that is where a lot of fraud happens.
