Are You Outraged? Your Outrage is Justified.
However, it's too late for that. Beginning right now, you can safely prepare for a constant stream of outrage to fill your emotional shopping cart.

Yes, I know that everyone here voted for Kamala Harris. That's good. Sadly, it wasn't enough. I must have posted a dozen times about the need for each of us to individually convince other voters who might not vote at all to go to the polls and vote for Harris.

Each of those posts sank quickly off the front page of General Discussion. I wasn't surprised because GOTV is not a popular subject on DU. However, the fact remains that many voters who might have voted for Kamala simply did not show up and vote at all. They weren't excited about the election. They were either bored or somehow believed that the election didn't matter. Maybe they couldn't get excited about voting for a woman. A black woman, for that matter. So, they didn't. The effect is obvious.

And we didn't convince them to put that ennui aside and vote for Harris anyhow. I talked three or four people I know into voting, despite their lack of excitement. So, I tripled or quadrupled my own vote. Had everyone done that, across the board, we would not be listening to Trump celebrate or whine about the flags being at half mast for Jimmy Carter.

Am I angry? No. I'm not even surprised. We keep doing this again and again. People stayed home and Hillary Clinton lost, too. Then, it was Harris. Earlier, it has been other unexciting Democrats who lost to the likes of Nixon, Reagan and the Bush crowd. We just keep doing that.

Now, I'm pushing 80 years old, and may not ever get to vote for another President. I may, but I also may not. It makes me sad, not angry, that Donald J. Trump will sit again in the White House. How can that even be? Well, it can be. It is. As voters, we did it, whether we voted for him or not.

Maybe we'll figure this all out at some point, but I won't be here to cheer, I'm afraid.

Yet another long screed from a DUer. Yet another time I only gave it a quick scan. After all, it’s by MineralMan and I had some paint that I needed to watch dry which I figured would be a more exciting and intellectual activity.

Based on the beginning of its rant, it (and all of DU) is justified at being outraged. Of course, like with everything else in life, the DUers are so mentally challenged that they focus their outrage in the completely wrong direction. The focus of all of their ire should be on their DemonRat Overlords. Let’s look at some of the ways their Overlords screwed them over...

1. The DemonRat Overlords over did it with the lawfare against Trump and, as a result, turned Trump from a bad guy to an underdog being picked on and attacked by the powers that be.
2. The DemonRat Overlords lied about SloJo being sharp as a tack, and their propaganda arm (the mainstream media) loyally broadcasted the lie. DUers and other members of the leftist cult bowed down to the Overlords and accepted the lie as the truth even when it became clear that it was a lie.
3. The DemonRat Overlords forced the Kackling Knob-Gobbler onto you as a candidate. The Overlords lied about how great she was, and their propaganda arm (the mainstream media) loyally broadcasted the lie. Even though no one could gave any reason for her being great (other than her skin color and gender), DUers and other members of the leftist cult bowed down to the Overlords and accepted the lie as the truth even when it became clear that it was a lie.

You know what? I could go on, but it just dawned on me that it’s not the DemonRat Overlords who should be the focus of any outrage. The DUmmies should focus the outrage on themselves for being brainless stooges who blindly follow their Overlords even when the truth is evident.

Since 11/5, celebremorons like Whoopi and Kathy the Griffin have been beclowning this Dem narrative by claiming Trump will forcibly break up "mixed race" marriages (Whoopster) and will throw her into a concentration camp (The Griffin).

What did you clowns over at DU expect? She never had a chance. She was never a good candidate and she practically slept her way into office for most of her career. hardly a resume for someone that intends to lead the biggest free nation in the world.
