The Trumpers failed to shut the government down. Trump and Musk wanted that, so they could ride in and save it in January.

Your definition of winning varies. This was a triumphant Trump win, considering they pared the porkulus bill from 1500+ pages to about 150.

Well, MM ASSumes that Trump and Musk were trying to "shut down" the government, therefore to MM, the passage of any bill is a Trump defeat.
