I have no faith in America or our citizens

I always knew there were racist and selfish individuals in this country, but I believed the majority of people were caring and compassionate. I recognized there were corrupt and extreme right-wing partisans in positions of power—whether judges, senators, business leaders, or CEOs—but I thought most leaders would prioritize the country over ideology and do what’s right. Sadly, I’ve come to realize that’s not the case. Many of these individuals seem willing to do whatever it takes to hold onto power and wealth, even if it means silencing or harming fellow Americans who refuse to align with their worldview.

What makes it worse is an American public that seems indifferent or asleep—acting as though bad things won’t happen to them. As long as they have food, cars, and entertainment, they appear willing to accept whatever happens, so long as it doesn’t directly affect them. This complacency only accelerates the decline of what’s right and just in our society.

To add to the despair, all the progress we were making under Obama has been wiped out. It feels like we’ve been thrown back to square one, teetering on the edge of a dystopian society where division, greed, and oppression reign. It’s as though the hope and momentum we once had have been replaced with a dark and unsettling reality.

And while Trump is often seen as the face of this chaos, he’s really just a symptom of a much larger problem. He represents a deeper rot—a system and culture that prioritize power, money, and ideology over decency, justice, and the common good. Trump may come and go, but the forces that elevated him remain, and that is the most troubling reality of all.

In the past, we worried about outside forces destroying America—the Soviet Union, China, other communist regimes, or even Islamic terrorists. But what will actually destroy us isn’t coming from outside; it’s internal. It’s the polarization, corruption, and apathy festering within our own borders. The greatest threat to America is the erosion of its own values by its own people.

1. The irony that all USAFRetired_Liberal is really doing is tantrumming at the majority of Americans voted differently than him/her and have different socio-political views than him/her is utterly lost on him/her.

2. Please! Keep denouncing American voters as racists! And expand the denunciations to include Americans who disagree with you to include HilLIARy's full Basket of Deplorables!

I wonder if DUmmy USAFRetired_Liberal had faith in America or our citizens when a majority or plurality elected Slick Willie, Barack Hussein 0, and Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. I'll bet he though it was peachy keen then.

Ive watched over the last 4 years, while democrat policy reached out and touched the nation, and me and mine. From inflation to fuel and energy prices, from lawfare to corrupt pardons, from a porous border to foreign gangs taking over apartment buildings, president apple-sauce made a real mess of things.

President Trump (that has such a nice ring to it) will do a much better job.

To lurking DUmmies: I hope the next 4 years are nothing but minute to minute misery for you, like a toothe ache that just wont let up or go away. You truly deserve it.

"Be not intimidated... nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties by any pretense of politeness, delicacy, or decency. These, as they are often used, are but three different names for hypocrisy, chicanery and cowardice." - John Adams

If USAFRetired_Liberal's USAF service was more than navigating a desk on some US air base, maybe (s)he knows a country closer to his/her views of reality to which (s)he could move.

I have to admit that there have been times that I've lost faith in the American citizens. That's why I went from being against congressional term limits to strongly for term limits. This election season, however, actually restored my faith in the citizenry a bit. They've shown that they can see through the demonrats' lies, lawfare, and anti-Americanism. Granted, it took the Demonrat Party bringing the country to the brink of disaster for the scales to be lifted from their eyes, but at least for a bit the scales were lifted.

Well, you're a batter man that I. In a country full of logical voters, there is no way a babbling and worthless candidate like Harris should be able to carry more than a few points. that fact that this was even relatively close makes me sick.

It bothers me that it was close, but I also realize that the other side is the election fraud masters so a lot of the votes for the empty suit were likely fraudulent. What concerns me more than anything is the media. While some of the KnobGobbler's real votes were from mindless lemmings like the members of DU, there are many that most likely voted for her because they still think that the media is made up of journalists. That's one of the reasons I'm so proud of DUmbass Don Lemon. When media members like him does stuff like his confronting a person in the street and, when the person voices concern about the economy, Lemon claims that the economy is great, it shows people that today's media is willing to eagerly lie. I wish more of the media talking heads would do stuff like that to reveal themselves as liars and propagandists to the public at large.
