It has raised almost $1,100 for a DUer down on his luck. It is all in his post at the link above.

IF you think this is a scam, that is up to you. As for me, I fell this is legitimate. Scammers don't give their real world name or the small town they live in. This is John's first time asking for our help.

This is the season of giving. As usual, when I post a fund-raiser, I ask for just $3 (or more) and a K&R for visibility.

I know the DU family can at least double the amount raised for John. We can do this, and brighten a DUer's holiday.
