My values remain unchanged. I am not so sure about our leaders.
I will hold some reservation until the shit hits the fan but

Working with trump on judicial appointments
The deafening silence of our leaders
The support by some of them to pardon this mfer! Wteverlovinghell?
The disrespect to Joe regarding him pardoning his son like there is some moral equivalency between his action and Trump.

I am getting angry.

2. Yeah I'm starting to get a little ticked off too

I will not change my values or beliefs or stop fighting for causes I believe in and I will never appease or accept the Republican agenda.

Something isn't right. I'm getting the feeling that some people previously worth of our admiration are shifting into the "go along to get along" mode. Okay, historically that certainly happens under authoritarians and dictators.

I'm not even quite able to articulate my level of agitation--I'm not panicking yet, but I'm watching everything extremely closely and not liking a lot of what I'm seeing.

If what some of us think is unfolding actually IS unfolding, my next question is where do they think their next tranche of financial support will come from? Or are the voters no longer that important now that corporations basically finance elections?

What a silly post. In the 20 years and change since the creation of DU, the dem party has veered far far left right into a guard rail.

So what this poster is admitting, is that they were always as nuts as their party has become, or they blindly support it regardless of where it goes.

Neither admission indicates sanity.

"Be not intimidated... nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties by any pretense of politeness, delicacy, or decency. These, as they are often used, are but three different names for hypocrisy, chicanery and cowardice." - John Adams

Hillary Clinton will never be the President of the United States.

The thing that always gets me with the left is the blatant double standard. The Hunter situation is a prime example.

They claim that they didn't go after Hunter because of any crimes. They claim that they just went after because of his name. I suspect that if he was a crackhead with a name other than "Biden" that he would have been charged more quickly and for more crimes.

Now, with Trump, they claim they ONLY went after Trump because of actual crimes. Apparently, his "crimes" weren't that big of a deal UNTIL they knew that he was running for the top office again. If they would have been after him for actual crimes, why did they wait so long to do anything?

It all comes down to the fact that there are different rules from DemonRats (especially if your name is Biden) than for Repubs (especially if your name is Trump). Of course, I do have to confess that I'm kind of pleased at the dems' crooked actions. If they would have shown some restraint and not piled a bunch of BS lawfare cases on Trump, they may have been able to drag the empty suit who pretends to have grown up a middle class kid over the finish line.

Dem misleaders haven't caved to Trump. They're just smart enough to know that going full-scorched-earth on Trump, as hic! boston bean hic! wants them to do, would fail, spectacularly, and would be a disaster with voters (2026 cometh).
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.
