Lord this a tough evening for me..

... sitting with my elderly mom who has advancing dementia... former professor ..
@ Ohio State in Nutrition and biochemistry..
and she keeps asking if there is any news and she forgets what I tell her in under 1 minute and asks the same question again and again.

Only one thing to do and that is to go home and watch the worst thing on TV. A hallmark Xmas show with fake snow, bad acting, cute kids who catch a parent about to kiss, and the town all excited about their Xmas tree or party
or parade. Oh and drink a bottle of reisling too.

At the nursing home after Botany leaves her mother:

Friend: "What was all that about? You don't have dementia. Why did you keep making her repeat that Kamala got her ass kicked in the election?"

Botany's Mom: "I know. I just like hearing that the empty pantsuited commie moron lost."

Friend: "But you already knew that."

Botany's Mom: "Yeah but making my moonbat daughter repeat it over and over is pretty good lulz."

Botany is male, though it could identify as something else. It’s not intelligent at all, but that’s common with primitives. You would think it would enjoy hanging out with someone who reminds them of Biden, but I guess it would rather drink and watch mushy movies curled up in a blanket.

Probably curled up on the chaise with a snuggie. And a mug of cocoa...

And would like to discuss Obummer care with you.

Already had some butthurt leftist on Linked In try to convince me that Project 2025 was going to take my medicare benefits before I could claim them. I answered that if the VA "health care" system is anything to judge gub'mint health care by, I wouldn't be signing up for Medicare even when it was available for me. I don't need my government's help in shuffling off my mortal coil.
