Trump to appear on Fox News Channel's ‘Gutfeld!’ Wednesday night

Former President Trump will appear on Fox News Channel’s hit late-night show "Gutfeld!" on Wednesday night.

It will be Trump's first in-studio appearance on "Gutfeld!" for the entire hour program. The former president will join host Greg Gutfeld along with Kat Timpf, Tyrus and "Outnumbered" co-host Emily Compagno.

Trump’s appearance was taped Wednesday afternoon at FOX News Media’s New York City headquarters before the former president headed to Long Island for a campaign rally. The appearance comes at a crucial point in the 2024 campaign as Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris enter the home stretch of the White House race.

Trump’s appearance will appear in front of a live audience and participate in the program’s signature banter.

"Gutfeld!" will be Trump's first interview on a broadcast or cable late night show during an election cycle since NBC’s "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" in 2016.

"Gutfeld!" is regularly among the most-watched cable news programs in America and finished August as the No. 1 program among the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults ages 25-54.

Fox’s Gutfeld Pulls Biggest Audience Ever with Trump Appearance

Fox News’ Gutfeld! drew its largest audience ever on Wednesday when former President Donald Trump joined the panel show in studio for the hour.

Trump joined host Greg Gutfeld and panelists Kat Timpf, Tyrus, and Emily Compagno and touched on a number of topics, from the assassination attempts against him to his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris to whether or aliens are real. The episode drew 4.9 million viewers and 744,000 in the 25-54 demo.

Wednesday marked Trump’s first time appearing in studio on Gutfeld!, though he had previously called into the show. Gutfeld also co-hosts The Five on Fox and he was the longtime host of the late night Red Eye.

That 4.9 million marks the highest ratings in the show’s history since launching in 2021 (Gutfeld hosted another version of the show, The Greg Gutfeld Show, on weekends before moving to weeknights), and it follows a number of other ratings victories for Gutfeld!, which is currently in its highest-rated year ever.

Gutfeld’s hour with Trump outmatched the season premieres of popular shows Survivor and The Golden Bachelorette and was the most-watched program on cable and broadcast primetime for the night. Survivor drew 4.54 million viewers, while the debut of Bachelorette drew 2.8 million viewers.
