I can only wish SS would go away. I tried to get out of SS when I was in my 30's. No dice. I was told straight up there's no way out of it unless you're a member of a religous group that will take care of you OR you were working for one of the smart organizations that got out of it when it was allowed. IE: Galveston County, Texas.
If you work for Galveston County you don't pay into SS and you will retire a millionaire, if you stay long enough. Their plan outpaces SS all day, everyday.
Also the Teachers of this country. I don't know what their retirement plan is like, but I know they were smart enough to stay out of the Ponzi Scheme known as SS.
SS is absolutely horrible for people UNLESS you manage to get on the disability gravy train, like so many of those at the DUmp. MOST of whom probably don't actually qualify, like MVD who hasn't been able to convince the system that he can't work, but he probably will at some point then he will still be doing Go Fund Me's because he doesn't "earn" enough. Makes me sick!
